  1. Hi Matt,

I saw you are local to me and was wondering if you could do a job for me with your vcds. I have a Skoda Yeti and am wanting the max dot country setting changed to Australia and the large digital MPH readout activated on the max dot display. If you could give me a quote for this I would much appreciate it.

    Thanks

    Chris

  2. thanks guys. I ended up untaping all the loom from the battery to the abs module, starting from the abs side. and found the 10amp feed (Red/White) wire has been rubbing on the top radiator hose spring band clamp! and worn right through. fixed that and hey presto, module is working perfectly
  3. I'm at a loss with this one. So I've had the issue with ABS, ASR, Power steering, Hand brake lights on the dash illuminating. speedo not working. and no Comms to ABS module. Fuel gauge all over the shop when cornering or braking. VCDS cannot connect to the ABS module. The fuses on top of the battery are intact. No. 25 fuse in fusebox not blown. Replaced ABS module with a second hand one. Exactly the same, still no comms. Looking at wiring diagrams it would seem there are 4 lives to the ABS module. 3 from on top of the battery. 40,25,10amp. and one from the fuse box (no 25, 5 amp) Testing the pins on the ABS module plug shows that the pin 1 (fed from the 40amp fuse) is continuous to the fuse. however pin 25 (25amp fuse) and pin 7 (10 amp fuse) are not showing as continuous back to the fuses. Am I correct in thinking that from the fuses on top of the battery to the module is supposed to be continuous (not a switched live)?? thanks for any advice in advance
  4. Sorry to ump on this thread, but from a comment above it suggests that it is possible to replace a module with a differ net part number? And then recode? I'm having difficulty locating a part for mine. (6q0 907 379 s 0001 / 6q0 907 379 s 0003) I do have a replacement but it's part number different (6q0 907 379 AG 0002 / 6q0 907 379 AG H04) Can any shed any light on this? Cheers Matt
  5. I have a pair of Blue MOMO seat belt pads that i bought a few years back but never fitted or used. they have just been lying in a drawer. Will take £10 posted for them PM if you have any questions Matt
  6. A while back I had an issue with my abs. Bought this new sensor, still didn't work, long story short it turned out to be my wheel bearing not be pressed in all the way. So I removed this sensor and fitted the old one again. and kept the new one for a spare. Has been stored in the anti static bag in the pic. not broken in any way etc. literally fitted for 2 day then removed, Bought for around £40 i believe, but will take £20 post for it PM for any details etc.
  7. I bought a pair of these from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EIBACH-REAR-CAMBER-TOE-PRO-ALIGNMENT-SHIM-VW-AUDI-SEAT-SKODA-VAUXHALL-5-75200K-/271507284238?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f3718610e However I no longer need them. 11. I bought a kyosho inferno neo 2 RC Nitro Buggy in October 2013 with every intention of getting into the world of RC, but it never happened and so it's up for sale, I've had it out a hand full of times, tbh its really quick, and handles well both on tarmac and offroad, It came with crap tyres so I've changed them, I've changed the steering servo to a Savox waterproof, much quicker response, I Ran the engine in properly and comes with around 2 litres of fuel Rechargeable bulk battery in the buggy New tyres Glow starter and charger Tools 2 x spare glow plugs After run oil (always used) Tyre glue Original wheels if wanted Everything cost me around £340 Im asking for £200 collected from Blyth, Northumberland http://www.modelsport.co.uk/kyosho-inferno-neo-2.0-readyset-green-/rc-car-products/379270 http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o662/sticky-kreations/IMG_1379_zps3409227c.jpg http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o662/sticky-kreations/IMG_1384_zps152c2e18.jpg http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o662/sticky-kreations/IMG_1382_zpsce279645.jpg
