Hi Guys, I have the columbus/canton upgrade in my MKIII Octy combi, I seem to have an issue when callers cant hear me, I have to shout loudly for a call to take place, If i reset the unit for a short while all is okay. It did go back to the dealership and the 1st time the fault was replicated, they removed 'fluff' from the microphone and again for a short time all was okay, it has been back in since and they now so they cant find a problem, where every day during a 55 mile commute each day i and taking calls and hearing the caller say I cant hear you. for reference i have the Galaxy S7 but this issue is apparent on another found when paired, my phone is okay in my wifes fabia Any thoughts anyone ? Interested in the comments re mirror tilt, just taken delivery of a Jan 16 VRS Combi, mirror tilt not working, would it be standard that it should ?, Also wireless charging not working in phonebox nor does the columbus show my sms form my galaxy s7

I forget if mine is the Bolero or the Columbus, in any case its the standard fit in my Mk3 Vrs and my S5 works a treat, (My S3 didn't !!!!)

Do you mind me asking the cost as thinking my candy white combination needs the same Sent from my GT-N8010 using Tapatalk

I went with ALA, Approx £150 for 3 years but got a 10% discount

I have the mk3 Vrs Combi Diesel (non DSG) and starting to average 40mpg's, 5th fill up and getting slightly better each time.

A few following the weekends wash, wax and polish

My TDi Combi VRS is currently averaging 40mpg,

Would be good to know a list of whats available on the VRS also if possible

Wish i'd never got the idea in my head now, 2 x main dealers say no, and to be fair not wanting to pay much when in my opinion a dealer should be able to do it for free, if the car is enabled for an add on it should be turned on from new !! SWMBO wont let me pay for adaptions lol

I've double checked and it was £60 for film repair/replacement, I am now awaiting a price for glass but don't expect it to be cheap, so guess will make do with scratch

i'm thinking maybe that was for a retint if it was film

MQB Platform Car ?

Sounds great i'd love those adaptions, but there surely would be a charge for this to be done etc, where as i was hoping the dealers would have done it for free whilst the car was with them, there is a VCDS owner in Fareham, local to me that I have emailed and await a response

it's on the inside, I know how i done it, putting my daughters car seat in the car

Who has VCDS then ?

My VRs Combi was at the dealers on Thurs and Friday last week, Whilst with them I asked if the could enable VCDS options, such as the passenger mirror dip in reverse and anything else that would be usefull. When i went o collect the car, they said they could not enable the mirror dip as my car did not have that option, and it depended what extras i had as to what can be enabled, i have seen many posts about adaptions and thought this could be done. Can anyone else with a VRs advise if they have this option. Ultimately it would be nice to have defined list of what can be enabled

Turns out it is the glass that is scratched, oh joy !!

Gonna speak to the dealer tomorrow and see what they suggest
