Im living in a little island south of Malaysia called Singapore. A little dot in the world but comes with a price in high vehicle ownership costs.....
Who pays close to 50k USD in the world for a piece of paper thats called "Certificate of Entitlement" and that is the entitlement for you to "just own a car" and yes, it does not include the price of the car and registration tax (140% of open market value of car).
And that entitlement is only for 10 years on the road that you have to either renew that certificate or scrap your car..... well that is the price that comes with it for little dot in the world called Singapore.
