  1. Cool, will do and thanks for all the "coments" on this thread uselful and otherwise.
  2. Hi all, Now that our Yeti has gone I'd like to tell you about an issue I had and the end result. We paid to have dimming exterior mirrorS on our yeti but the yeti only comes with one dimming exterior mirror, I complained to skoda UK about this and they admitted that the brochure is misleading and offered me some vouchers for approx £200-£250, I asked if I could have 2 free services and they agreed - the brochure still states dimming mirrorS so get moaning. Great customer service btw ;-)
  3. Well FYI she was worth £21000, I paid less than £25,000 for her so we are happy campers ;-) We bought an X5 Msport 3.0 bi-turbo in the end as we liked the engine, pace and space Where do I advertise my sonniboy rear shades and genuine skoda rubber mats?
  4. On you, seems your English is far better than his Polish too ;-)
  5. Thanks for all of the advice and opinions. I'll be buying the ML as we have had three of them before and like them. I'll try around £22500 I think as that seems to be the price these are advertised for with the odd nav or roof but not both or all of the other bits. I'll let you know how I get on.
  6. Mrs M is due to have another child so we are needing a 7 seater for our brood - going for an ML Mercedes so I just need some help pricing our Yeti please? 7. Indeed but this is only for the cars like yours that have the Amundsen sat nav fitted in the factory :-)
  8. It's very tricky to set up the sound pack on these as there is lots of different options. I have VCDS and time this week FOC of course Pm sent :-)
  9. The yeti brochure states "dimming exterior mirrors" but only the drivers one dims. I have raised this point with skoda uk and they acknowledged that the brochure and web are incorrect and gave me two free services as recompense. Not the end of the world.
  10. Ref earlier posts I ordered our yeti with the factory option spare wheel then removed the wheel etc, put an inflation kit in then I covered the original mat with a skoda rubber floor mat, this works fine but gives me the option of a cheap spare in the garage if required. I'll take some pics later on.
  11. Sorry if I gave that impression I assumed it was a given that people here would know you'd need VCDS to do most coding. Was more about the fact that you can use ROW to get mph in the mfa and temp in lieu of kmh in the dis as per a mk6 golf.....
  12. Hi, all done now, I did a full reset ( < > and i ) every time but it made no odds. In the end it all came alive when I unplugged ANC the reconnected the power amp under the passengers seat ;-)
  13. It should go like a scalded cat - my gtd is a different car since the remap
  14. This is genuine information yes, shall I do a "how to"? It's very simple if you have VCDS :-)
  15. FYI I just picked up my yeti and changed the clocks to ROW and it gives outside temp in the kmh display and gives MPH in the dis - just like a mk6 golf ;-)
  16. Hi all, Jus got a new yeti this morning, I removed the standard fit bolero and fitted my Columbus from my previous car, everything works but I have no sound - have ticked navigation 37 in the can gateway and have set radio / nav as follows: byte 1 to 02 skoda sound system Byte 2 to 00 sound system (active speakers) Byte 4 to 00 not coded Byte 5 to 00 equalisation linear Tried setting byte 4 to 01 speaker monitoring inactive (sound system) but still no sound. BTW The unit does now show eq settings in the tone section. All works fine when bolero is put back in..... Any thoughts please?
  17. On you but I was also referring to the outside temp, then I said I'll let you know when I have mine. Not "you can do this on golfs and therefore you can most certainly do it on a yeti". So, keep your hair on and don't have a heart attack.....
  18. Keep yer hair on.....
  19. Well she arrived yesterday, I'm holding out for the first of Spetember delivery but I'm off to she her today and order some bits MUDs flaps etc.
  20. Try brasso and a nice soft cloth - never paper towels
  21. On golfs you can change the kmh to the outside temp and also display the speed in the fuel computer area by changing the clocks to ROW (rest of world) - once done you can change the temp Barack to knh in the fuel computers settings menu at will. I'll let you know when I pick mine up on the 1st of September ;-)
