Is MDI standard on SE plus and above
Superby replied to Hoops65's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
SE plus (just got mine) has the MDI as standard, and yes its an option on the elegance (as is Privacy glass). One thing to check is you get the lead from the MDI socket so you can plug in your ipod. The MDI is a weird socket and it will not fit a USB connection, and this may NOT be included in the deal. Its only @ £20 but you will be cheesed off if you picked up your car and had no music (bar radio) to listen too! -
Any sign of MY12 specs for the Superb yet...?
Superby replied to Superbalicious's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
My brolly was with the car, so ok. one thing to check is that with the se plus it is supposed to come with a cable to connect your ipod etc. mine didn't so a rant later and showing the brochure did the trick! -

Superby replied to MistereE7's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
got my superb. And it is just that...superb. Fuel economy 35mpg for first tank, 38mpg for second tank. My wifes fabia got to 1000 miles and the fuel economy went up 10% as it seemed to be bedding in. I'll let u know at 2000 miles to see how its going -
wife loves the fabia, seems really good quality, thats what persuaded me to get the superb.

i'm getting a superb combi 1.8 manual in the next couple of weeks so i will let u know. it seems faster than the 170 diesel, £2k cheaper, plus with 15% off and a bit more negotiated, that puts it nearly £6K cheaper than the diesel list price. I think practically u will get 10mpg less in the petrol, and about £2k less for a trade in, but thats still a lot of pennies so spend on fuel for the car. -
good hunting for that one

funnily enough i was specing up an octavia the other day and fiddled with the options for it..... i found an option for DAB+.....but it cos £46,000!!!!!. new car was about £69,000 lol

I'm hearing that DAB might be available soon for the sat nav systems, but as i'm getting my superb soon it looks like i'll miss out. Any chance of getting it retro fitted??

brolly is part of the spec, but doesn't arrive with the car as they get nicked, so u have to get dealer to order it. No charge for it but there is a waiting list for them. Apparently.. -
