  1. Hi, It started after I tried to use a charger in the lighter. There was a spark. Yes there is also a bunch of extra cables, presumably for the radio as they are labelled as such. But they don't seem to be official Skoda as they aren't tidy or tucked away nicely. Do you think the fuses could be different now that extra cables are used to the radio?
  2. Hello, After searching some other threads, I see I may have shorted fuse number 15. However, even after replacing this (and a few other random fuses) the clock and cabin light etc still do not work? Does anyone have any ideas what could be the issue? Thanks in advance, David.
  3. Hello everyone, I've had a problem that has gotten progressively worse in the past few weeks, my lights do not turn on properly (but now, not at all). Unless it was just coincidence, the problem started when I left my lights on all day my mistake. My battery went flat so i had to recharge it etc. When I tried to turn on my lights again the next day the switch didn't seem to work first time. I had to press the button 2/3 times and then the switch would be illuminated/lights would work fine. This was the case for a week or so, no big deal, I just had to press the switch a few times. But now the light switch will only work if I keep it pressed in. When I let go it will depress as normal but the lights wont stay on. My emergency lights, courtesy head light (?), and indicators all work perfectly fine. It's almost like the switch is damaged, but I'm guessing it would be something else. I have no idea where the related wires on to check connections. The only wires inside the car I can see (tucked away near passenger feet area) are for the stereo as far as I can tell Any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance everyone.
  4. Hi everyone, I have recently been unable to start my Felicia. The engine turns over fine, but it just doesn't start. It was last like this around December time (i live in London) when the temp was very cold, but now its around 15 deg c and I'm having problems again. I have a feeling it might be my battery because I can only try to start my engine about 3 times (by trying the engine over for about 5 secs each time) before my battery is flat.I then have to charge my battery inside my house for a few hours before trying again. Could it be something else? The yellow coil light comes on as normal (goes away after a few seconds) This is my battery, http://boschcarbatteries.co.uk/index.php/varta-black-063-battery-a17-1.html is it even powerful enough for a 1.9D ?
