Typically,.. today im due to get a part X valuation and the airbag sensor fault has shown ( have scanned ) It wont reset :-( Do i buy a new sensor or are they repairable ?? And where is it.. i presume front corner of bumper ??? Thank you

Reverse light fault when boot open is this normal or an earth fault ?

I pulled the radio out and the cables bent away from the connector.. now i have weaker signal

ok, so its in rear window. i need to track down where the cable comes out so as to feed new one through to radio ( old one damaged at fakra at radio end )

i need a shark fin with GPS and double plug aerial cable ( im told am and fm are sent seperetelly altho i only ever use FM ) Have you any ??

which side do the aerial cables run from for rear window ?? cant find any My shark fin only has one cable so it must be GPS ( no gps unit in car tho )

i have purchased a new cable from TPS for my radio.. but the aerial ( shark fin ) only has one cable coming from it .. why ? my cable from the back of the radio has 2 cables confused . do i need to buy a new roof aerial aswell now :-( ?? TIA

So.. behind the passenger headlight is a connector block Please can someone tell me where the wire ( if their is one ) goes to from pins 2 and 4 iv had broken wires so stripped them out and replaced them. all my notes do not indicate where pins 2 and 4 go ? so maybe redundant ?

After months of trial and error i need to pass my thanks to Eddie-NL and Actionman39 of Auto Solutions for the advice and support My Octavia 1.6 base model was never designed to have RCM.. and NO available listed BCMs to upgrade to it After trying a few BCMs we ( eddie ) realised that a BCM from a Golf with no rear electric doors may work. worth a try.. and after 2 months trying to locate the correct BCM i found one in Poland. Sooo happy to say its worked. PN 1K0 937 086 N Thanks to Actionman39 for his skills .. re-chipping a used key AND supplied a spare new Bentley style remote. Over the moon today. the un-achievable has been smashed into pieces :clap:
