  1. Wanted to put my Fabia Vrs in the for sale section, but I cant - says I dont have enough priviledges or something. Anyone know why i cant access it?
  2. Does anyone know if there is a way of programming keys using vag com? My dad has a felicia and 2 keys, one is programmed the other is blank. I have vag com, fully registered, and OBD 2 cable. Thanks in advance Will P.S. SKC is not on original key, so would need a way of getting that from existing programmed key.
  3. Hi guys, my dad has a Skoda Felicia and he's lost the only key he had to it. He has been to dealers and they want
  4. Im thinking of changing the vrs's wheels. Currently on 17" Octy Spiders. Was thinking of changing to these..... Lenso Elegance | Alloy Wheels, specialist supplier of alloy wheels and tyres, nationwide delivery What you reckon, be honest
  5. Is there a step by step guide to using Vag com to turn down the egr valve? I have Vag come and cable, just dont know how to use it to do this. Will
  6. I found the vibration to be the actual catch on the door of the glove box that was rattling. Blue tac sorted it.
  7. You may struggle to get one from anywhere but a dealer. Friend of mine had the same problem i.e. needed new headlight for fab vrs - in the end had to go to dealer as he couldn't source one elsewhere. Things may have changed now though
  8. Not its not the one near Trafford - its just outside of Manchester City Centre - i think its in partnership with the one in Bury. I know thinks occasionally go wrong - and most people are OK with providing the problem is sorted out to a standard that the customer is happy with. In my case I couldn't have expected more and im very pleased with the way the dealership has resolved this issue.
  9. Went in to the dealers this morning - they told me they had ordered the parts after a fone call i had had with them. Anyway, after a couple of hours wait they had replaced the hose, fixed a rattle in the door, sorted out a door panel issue, fitted for free a new O/F/R light cluster ( i purchased the part), and fully wahed and vacced the car. Was very pleased with the service in the end - and they toof full responsibility for the damage that had been caused. The dealer in question was - Horners, in salford Manchester.
  10. Had the VRS in for first service a few weeks back. Just opened up the bonnet today and noticed a couple of things. 1) When servicing they have obviousley had the engine cover off, and when they have put it back on they have not clipped it under the rubber stopper at the top, instead they have forced it round the rubber stopper - as a result the rubber stopper is almost cut in half. 2) Because the engine cover was not correctly seated, it has worn a gash into one of the large hoses coming from the intercooler. It has not gone right through, but i know its there and its annoying me. Do you think i should kick off with the dealer and get both bits replaced? Will
  11. I put my car back to standard last night. Took out the green filter, put standard one back in. Put back original air intake and put standard map back on. The car is slower now but nicer to drive. Its quieter, smoother and easier to drive normally. With the one click it was hard to change gear from 1 to 2 smoothly and the DMF vibrated a lot at about 1700 revs. Now its quiet and a much more pleasant drive.
  12. I organised the AMD group buy and saved a LOT of money. Adam at AMD did me an exceptional deal which was well below the 300 quid that everyone else paid. It a good remap and worth the money - at over 500 quid (MRP) I think its a bit steep though. Will
  13. Thanks Josh and Delcac. To everyone else that thinks I am interested in their opinions, tut tut tut, if I cared less, i'd celebrate the passing of the day where i found something to give less consideration to than the colour of the foam inside the chair im sat on now.
