Yes of course. Everything is in the eye of the beholder... But then again paying several hundreds or thousands of euros to buy a device and then get no after sales service (by providing the maps for free as other nav companies do) instead you have to pay for them a several more hundred euros is a little frustrating. Don't you agree?

I just installed a used Columbus unit and it seems to me that the little fan it has on the back side keeps working all the time. I entered the car after several hours I parked it and heard it working... Anyone else encountered the same problem???

Is there a way to download the newer version or the only way to obtain them is to buy them???

Hi again, just recently replaced the swing radio system with Columbus. When removing the swing I had to unplug the airbag sensor cable which lies just under it. I placed the columbus, plugged again the airbag cable. Now when I turn on the engine it shows airbag fault and the corresponding led lights. I tested the airbag switch to see if it works and it did (I switched it off from the glove box and the led bellow the columbus light). Should I go to a Skoda service to erase the memory of the computer in case it finds this as an error?

Hello guys, I have this problem some time now and it is really frustrating :'( The led that lights the rev meter and the one that lights the speed meter blinks every now and then. Not the whole cyrcle. Just the upper arc (2500 to 6000 revs and 60 to 130 kph). The rest of the numbers are light just fine. The blinking occurs both with the engine on and off. It may be instantaneous or last up to 10 secs. This problem appeared about a month ago and won't stop till now. The small "eye" on the battery is not green as suggested in the manual but dark. Could it be a battery problem??? But then again if it was that's the only thing that affects? :wonder: Everything else works just fine. The engine starts and runs smoothly. Generally no other battery related problems. Please help!

I have a LHD superb and the problem is that when I leave the mirrors' knob on R and put reverse it dips down just fine but if I move on and then use again reverse after a while the mirror won't move at all. I have to put the knob on 0 and then on R again to dip down again... Any suggestions?

Hello guys, I am new here. Just recently owned a Superb with the standard Swing radio system (which by the way is ok but can only store up to 12 stations (!!!) when much cheaper systems stores at least 18...) and now I am looking at buying the Columbus system. I would like to install it myself so as to save the extra cost. The only problem is that I can't find anywhere on internet a manual on how to extract various parts of the car (including stereo system). Any help or "how to" guide would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.
