Brilliant topic this - I have started to get a rattle from the glovebox/passenger door area (it seems to move), now I know where to look and what to look for - cheers guys - nice result!

Well, all this makes for a bit of shocking reading... I have had my Superb Estate (SE 2.0 Diesel) for just over a year now and have had no issues apart from a slightly annoying rattle that I can't seem to pin down (it moves!), other than that it shifts (Auto 170bhp) like a rocket in Sports mode, the build and finish is damn good, loads of space for everybody - SD card tends to jump tracks but it may be down to the card as it only happens on one of my cards - the other 2 are fine. Stuff in the glovebox tends to rattle if you are not careful so thinking of lining it with foam to deaden the rattle, other than that I am very happy with it - guess I must have got a good un' from what I have been reading here...

I just had the rear parking sensors put on mine - don't trust computers to park my car no matter how good they say they are. As for the Superb - after a 5 minute test drive (I had the demo car for 3 days) I placed the order - says it all really... Enjoy...

Hi, Just joined after getting my first Skoda (Superb Estate SE 170) - it's a compnay car but at least I had a choice. After years of driving Vauxhall Carlton's & Senators I started with a company that gave me a car - for the past 3 years I had a Vaixhall Vectra (the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven sadly). That came up for renewal and I took a test drive in the Superb - 8 minutes later I placed the order - that must be something of a record. I never thought I would give up my beloved Carlton but after getting into the Superb there was no doubt that it was the car for me - Superb by name and Superb by nature and design. Does what it says on the tin... Happy man...
