Evening all, Happy Friday! Can you guys help with Sat Nav? Is there a way to input Postcode rather that go through the long process of County, town, Road etc etc. It’s so long winded for what should be straightforward! Thanks Beerok

Can you tell me about how to fit the spacers? Size etc, do you need extra long bolts? Widening the stance is appealing. -

What is said max speed? 🤔 😀 -
To be honest if you weren’t tested that doesn’t mean you didn’t have it. We all have responsibilities and opinions. We need to help each other. With so much anxiety people are facing I think the rule of thumb is ‘ BE NICE!’

You are quite right I shouldn’t have gone. I’ve not broken the rules at all except for work. My daughter hasn’t even seen her fiancé who lives in Bolton. I am sorry if this causes offence to you.

It’s the 6 speed manual. I had a DSG before and prefer manual. Great cars though.

Thanks @BriskodaJeff I will get pictures up. Honestly cannot wait! Cheers for the info on Adblue. 👍

Ah I didn’t realise. Do they use a lot? Had a 2018 Merc Vito at work but not long enough to calculate.
-
Can I ask? Are these Superb AdBlue?

Very nice. I have used Mitchell’s for a service and they have always been pleasant to deal with. -

Evening all, Been away from this site for some time with the odd glance every now and again. I owned a 2009 Superb SE DSG which was a lovely car. I started doing more miles and got irritated with the small fuel tank so changed. Since I have owned a few cars, Insignia, Megan and currently a 2010 320d BMW I'm missing the Superb, I miss the driving comfort and the space. However this time I want to get a manual Elegance MY2014/15 There are a few knocking around with mileage of 50-60k. Can anyone advise re the cam belt change/issues as a reminder please? Many Thanks Beerok

Hi guys and gals, im currently looking at moving back in to a SKODA after a few years away. Originally, I was thinking of a Superb but a very nice mk3 Octavia vrs has come for sale at a local dealer. The Reg is : DG66CDX I wondered if it belonged to anyone on here previously? Just after info that it’s not a ‘Friday afternoon build’ cheers

I haven't looked at them to be honest. I just really like the VRS styling and sporty looks.
-
Just out of interest "Are they heavy on tyres?"
-
Thanks pist0nbr0ke & thomas5265 Interesting and great comments. Surprised about the economy but I suppose that does depend on roads and journeys and of course why have a VRS to drive like a Sunday driver.

Evening all, I have been very tempted to go for a Superb simply because of space for my 3 growing kids. 19,17,9 y/o However I really love the Octavia VRS. We are moving house within the next 3/4 weeks to the countryside and living in Wales can bring snow most years for a week or so. Due to the country lanes and mud etc and i'm toying with the idea of a 4x4. Does anyone on here drive the new VRS 4x4 DSG Diesel and if so can you tell me what its like? Thanks
