  1. Over 500 views and no takers so I've chucked them in the skip. That's the way the cooky crumbles I suppose!
  2. Sure do. They're a bit big to stick on here. Do you have an e mail address that I can send them to? Drop me a PM with it if that's OK.
  3. According to my invoice the part numbers part no PRS45.
  4. I've already chucked a MINI set of bars in the skip so last chance for these. PLEASE PLEASE no silly messages asking odd questions and then going silent. Yes I know that most on the Forum are OK but there are strange people out there!
  5. NOW WITH FREE GIFTS! Yep these wheels/tyres will now come with a full set of Heko tinted Wind Deflectors. Front set have been fitted but weren't on for long. Rears unused and still in wrapping. Also rubber boot mat. PLEASE PLEASE buy these as I need the room in the garage.
  6. I really really need these gone as they don't fit my mountain bike. Get yourself a bargain before winter strikes!
  7. No longer got the car so a nice near offer would be really good.
  8. No longer got the car............so dog lovers any nice near offers?
  9. No longer got the car..........so any nice near offers?
  10. Well I've waved goodbye to the Yeti. It served it's purpose for mountaineering, dog walking, holidays and what have you. I liked the heated screen and its ability in the winter.(especially with winter tyres) I've no need now however for a second car especially a 170 diesel so it has gone back a few months early to Skoda. I must say that I found Skoda finance to be more than helpful. The dealer however was another matter. Now I may still be naive (doubtful) but I thought that they might have asked if I enjoyed the car. A fond fairwell or even a hope we might see you again etc etc BUT not a dicky bird. They just couldn't have cared less. If I have to buy another car in the future which is likely then rest assured that's one dealer that I won't be buying a car from.

    Roof bars

My bars (See for sale section) fitted the "original" yeti & the facelift model. There is no difference.
  13. Someone must want these............surely!
  14. Slight bump as I'd like these gone and not taking up space in my garage.
  15. This is an Over the Top custom back seat cover for the Skoda Yeti. Quilted and waterproof. ( http://www.overthetop.co.uk/custom-back-seat-cover/ ) The cover does not have seat belt holes. Cover attaches to headrest struts (see pic) While there is some slight discolouration of the material there are no holes, rips or scratches. Still waterproof as far as I know but I've not chucked a bucket of water over it just for fun! This cover is seriously heavy so any post and packing would be expensive! Collection preferred from Perth. More pics available if required. Asking price is £48.00
  16. Inka fully tailored waterproof rear seat covers in black. I paid £54.95 for these but I see that they're now on sale for £39.95 so asking £20.00 Collection preferred from Perth although I can post. No idea of the post & packing but wouldn't think that it would be much. PM please.
  17. These bars are Yeti fitting. I've no idea if they'll fit anything else. As the nut & bolt system that fits the bars to the roof rails are not of the best (rusty) I have a new set (4) of nuts and bolts. (Obtained from the original supplier.) Collection only please from central Scotland. Perth preferred. Asking price is £60.00
  18. Yeti fitment 16" Dezent alloy wheels. These were bought in September 2011 & are now surplus to requirements. Only four of the wheels have been used. One wheel is NEW & still in its wrapping. The tyre remains unused as well and has been stored carefully. The unused tyre is a Continental Winter Contact 215/60. As regards the other four tyres these were purchased late last year and have covered less than 400 miles. The as new tyres are Nokian WR D4 in 215/60. Complete with a set of nuts Collection only from central Scotland. Perth preferred although Dunfermline is possible. Pictures of all wheels & tyres are available. Asking price is £450.00 ONO. Drop me a PM please. PLUS free gifts: (1) Boot mat. Used but very good condition. (2) Complete set of Heko wind deflectors
  19. My "tenure" is up in September this year but I don't really need two cars any longer. So I thought in my naivety that it would be a simple matter of handing the car back to the dealer (early) and some other punter getting a good buy..........WRONG! Apparently the car has to be collected by British Car Auctions and then who knows. Seems a shame really as it's a really nice car for someone. Skoda Yeti Outdoor Elegance 2.0 TDI 170PS 4x4 Metallic Grey 17" Matterhorns Heated Windscreen & washer nozzles Rough road package Space saver spare wheel Telephone prep. Registered 24/09/14 It's had new discs....of course! Only 10,200 miles
  20. Nice one. I think that it's called learning on the job. The end result should always be finishing with the same number of limbs (+ fingers & toes) that you started with. I remember (SORRY) on one of my first ice climbs a thing called oui oui at Newtonmore that my "teacher" pointed out that taking both picks out of the ice at one time was not beneficial to my long term health. As long as you're still enjoying it and surviving/learning. By the way how's your abseiling as bailing out is sometimes quite a good idea.
  21. We used to have two Huskies who refused to sit or lie in the boot. So their place was the rear seat..........suitably strapped in. We also had a friends husky puppy once in the back. If she only dribbled I'd have been pleased. Let's just say that the vetbed had to be binned & the car given a good dose of Fabreeze! The pooch has to be happy & comfortable in the car. We used waterproof padded covers with vet bed on top of that. Sitting the dog in the car while not moving can help. Just sit there and let the dog settle. Once that's been done a few times then try short journeys. Get out of the car then & make a fuss of the dog. Go for a short walk or a little play. Pooch has to associate the car with something that leads to a happy experience. One of our Huskies was actually happy in the rear footwell when she was a pup. She went there voluntarily however as I think that it reminded her of her bed. I wouldn't force a pooch down there though. Some dogs though just aint happy in the car........EVER. Best of luck with the new dog. They are great aren't they.
  22. Yep it's an interesting old life. Here are two "videos" of that way of life that I quite like...... 1) AND a route I highly recommend
  23. Thanks for taking it like that. I really mean no harm..........honest. Your right though in that death can really screw up your enjoyment of things. Whatever.........just enjoy what you do & stay safe.
  24. Yep nice trip in Winter. Either the Brothers or the Sisters. Great routes. Nice ridges. The slog up to the bealach is a ball breaker though.
