  1. Hi, I have an intermittant fault on my reversing sensors. i.e continual beeping on passenger side. I have reviewed the forums and think it may be an individual sensor. I have checked and all are clicking at the same rate. I plan to disconnect one at a time at the parking sensor control unit and would appreciate it any one can confirm location of this unit in an Octavia 2. I am also thinking of a Gendan fault code reader as I plan to keep the car for some years yet and would again appreciate feedback if this will read parking sensor faults as well as the usual engine systems. I do not plan to go the whole hog and buy a PC based system as I do not feel I need it. Many thanks, Peter C.
  2. I bought a new switch today £18 and replaced it using the excellent post elsewhere on this site. It was a bit futtery to change but completed sucessfully in an hour. Thanks again to the practical Briskoda members. Many other manufacturers site as not nearly as good. PeterFC
  3. Hi, my central locking works correctly from the key fob but when I lock from the interior central consol switch it remains locked. ie the central console switch does not unlock it. I also noticed that pressing unlock when the doors are unlocked also locks them. Are there any checks that I can make before I replace the switch. I am fairly competant with multimeter etc but do not have a wiring diagram. Having said that I still like the Octavia and am thinking of a new one when the new model comes out in 2013 Many thanks, Peter FC
