So I’ve just been out and I still can’t get it working. I’ve tried a few different things but can’t get it to work. When I tried doing a soft reset within the a control unit it said it was unavailable. I did everything else (although I may need to try locking the car as I didn’t do that, but I did open the door) but I’ve gotta give up for the night because I’m getting frustrated by it haha

Hey mate, Thanks for this, I’ll give it a go shortly. My only questions really are: 1. How do you exit with a soft reset? 2. I’ve got KESSY, do we think I’m going to be screwed by that?! Or when your stage is “Ignition Off” should I just open my drivers door? Thanks, Ash

Hi All, It’s been a while since I tried my OBDEleven, and it seems there’s an issue with my account. My device had auto logged me out, and now when I try and log in it says that I need to verify my email. When I do that and click on the link in the email, a webpage comes up saying invalid verification link, and it carries on doing that no matter how many times I do it. I wouldn’t mind, but I’m a Pro user so I’m trying to log back into that account to carry out some changes on my vehicle. Could anyone give me any advice on how to fix this? If anyone needs any more information from me, just ask!Ash

Yeah I think that may be the only option! Whereabouts are you based? I've spoken to Andy about popping up to him to get VIM enabled as well, so I suppose I could get two birds with one stone on that front!

Well, it's official. I've tried everything, using every step, and no matter what I do I get a light assist error! :( Going to have to give up I think! Which is really annoying as this is something I REALLY wanted, and only didn't pay for it because I thought I could activate it after. Ah well, if anyone has any brain waves please let me know!

Hmmm... Very strange. I'm doing it all, in order, not missing a step. Could it be that any other adaptions that I've got on are stopping it I wonder. Will have to give it another go

Hey, I've followed the steps to enable the high beam assist on my 16MY Octavia vRS but when I put my lights on I get "High Beam Assist Fault" showing on the dash. I don't suppose anyone has any ideas do they? I've done the coding 3 different times, and a friend has tried twice as well! Any advice will be gladly received!

Ah I didn't know that. I've got a 16MY vRS DSG TDI if that helps narrow it down for people. I appreciate the heads up!

After driving Jag's, Range Rover's and even Renault with rear view cameras, all of which had additional lines that moved as you turned the steering wheel, I was/am amazed the Octy doesn't. At first I wondered if it was something that could be enabled, but then I saw it shown on a Skoda image (which I can't find now, typically) so I'm now wondering if it should do it and there's just something not right with mine. So, if you've got a rear view camera, so you have guide lines that move as you turn the wheel? Just so I have ammunition top go back to the dealer with! Thanks in advance

Yeah I know what you mean, but because I'll be plugging in every journey anyway because of Apple CarPlay it'd be nice if it just automatically made the hot spot from there. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for certain for me!

Hmmm yeah, that's what I'm starting to think/worry. I mean, it's not the end of the world because it'd only be for my passengers if they wanted/needed it, but it would be nice if I could enable it. Just trying to get my head round everything it can do, especially as I'm a self confessed geek, I like to know everything! lol On a side note, using Apple CarPlay with the Columbus nav is fantastic! Just needed to get that off my chest... haha!

I've been searching through the manuals and playing on the system to try and figure this myself but to no avail! I can connect to the the WiFi hot spot with no issues, but I can't seem to share the internet. Now it could be that it's not designed to share the internet from a phone like I thought it was, but I could've sworn I read somewhere that it shares the internet from the device connected via USB. Can a fellow Briskodian please shed some light on this as I'm kinda tearing my hair out over it?!

I had a bit of a dilemma earlier when I was ordering the SD card and decided to go for a 32gb to see if I fill that before I go crazy and get a 128gb one. Need someone friendly to enable video in motion now so I can listen to stuff on the way to work!

I placed my order on 23rd December, but it was stuck at Grimsby for a week waiting for a transporter, which I wasn't happy about! A 1.4 TSI is still part of the happy Octavia family though

Well, tomorrow is the big day, new car day! So, I've just been thinking about the SD card slot in my Columbus. I remember there were limitations on the SD cards that could be used on my old MK2 columbus. My question is, what (if any) are the limitations on the 16MY Columbus for the SD card? What speeds and sizes are compatible? I'm just thinking about putting videos on there so would quite like a pretty large one! Thanks in advance
