  1. It's believed to help with handling at it uses the same set up as the estate. Remove them as try. I have removed them an well they aren't going back on any time soon

  3. Panel filters are good as a replacement element maybe a tiny bit more noise. A open cone is way to go for noise I have a ram air currently love the noise of supercharger sucking air in then when letting off the dv noise is pretty loud doubt any gains tho maybe a little torque. To remove air box and replace with open cone takes 10 mins
  4. I believe pushing the accelerator down and pushing kickdown button in for 20 sec with ignition on. Dsg doesn't take long to learn
  5. Sounds like somethings gone wrong mate. I will probably get shot down for this but next time your engines upto temp stop put either in park or neutral and rev, it will cut at 4k, should make it easier to see if your losing oil through turbo. Have you noticed any blue smoke on kick down or normal driving?? I'm guessing you mean 750 miles and not k?? Lol
  6. It probably cost skoda more to design the ballast weights, then just to take it off the vw guys away
  7. The only thing I believe you can do to your car and still have warranty is springs from eibach
  8. Fabia vrs 1.4 tsi 27000 miles Due next service soon Car is 3 years at the end of august She has a black grill and smoked headlights from factory which is pretty rare (black pack) I am sadly selling my pride and joy, reason for sale is my wife and i have just had our 2nd baby and could really do with a bigger car, also the wife is wanting to learn to drive so needing something that i don't mind getting scratched/dented. Insurance is cheap I'm paying under £400. I'm 24, low risk area but 7 points and a claim (none on this vehicle). Road Tax is also pretty cheap @ £145 a year I am the only owner of this car, she requires a service in the next 3000 miles which i can take to dealer to do if dropping of in Inverness, maybe further if we can work something out. She has been serviced by main dealer for the previous 2 services as well. 2 new front tyres covered approx 500 miles, the rears are still the originals. 1 alloy could do with a refurbish or bought brand new for £184 She does consume a bit of oil but hasn't really bothered me. She still has a few months manufacturers warranty if any problems do arise Drivers side DRL has cracked i have ordered a spare and will be fitted before end of sale There a couple of stone chips on the bonnet and front of the roof. On drivers door 2 scratches (touched up) and a tiny tiny dent (hardly pushed in) would show a photo of the dent but camera cant pick it up. Also a small scratch on bumper A new wind screen is fitted 27/05/14 I have been as honest as i can but if you have any questions i will be more then happy to answer them The car also currently has finance held on it which will be paid, i believe you can pay the finance company or i can pay it at time of sale, there will be a remainder to be paid to me which i can pm to interested people I am asking for such a cheap price (one of if not the lowest price 2011 fabia vrs in the uk) as i know it could do with new alloy and stone chips sorting out (to be mint) so have accounted for them and I'm am hoping for a quick sale as I'm needing this bigger car asap
  9. As far as I am aware there has been no problems with using the box apart from a couple of guys had connections come loose so as long as you check that everything is secure you shouldn't have a problem. If you have just got facia then dealer should be able to fit eibach springs and still hold warrenty, h&r springs are good many guys adding them
  10. Yes the car will remember the fault code, even after the engine light has gone off. What I am unsure about is if the ecu clears faults after a set number of starts or if the codes can only be cleared but fault reader or dealer
  11. I'm guessing you mean lumpy idle after engine is warm?? As lumpy idle and misfire is common on cold start up well it is/was for cave engines, I believe it's to do with the engine dumping extra fuel to heat the cat up quicker for emissions purposes Yep car revs to 4k in both park and neutral. Personally I am about to hit 27k on original plugs and used 95ron for 99% of the cars life.
  12. You can buy a tool for the job I believe awesome sell it. Makes the job 100 times easier.
  13. EBay easiest place mate cost no more then a couple of quid
  14. Anything thats uses the Golf mk4 platform brakes gti etc then you can change the fronts for the 312mm then move you original fronts on to the back. This has been done by a member but cannot remember who
  15. I have also seen these. I believe the mazda 3 guys use these guys for getting it stiff

  17. I'm guessing ebay would be best place to get a standard grill would be ebay or dealers. But the grill is easier I believe to change just remove the 2 bolts on top for after market grill you could try superskoda
  18. Something like this: http://milotec.de/media/content/pdf/roomster/521xx.pdf?XTCsid=748d0105266e6c132288800953bea3ad&XTCsid=a71332f4e9dbaac2ed962e2ad20a2852
  19. Above for rear light Head lights are a bumper off job so if you can find milotec grill installation instructions (pdf) that will tell you how to remove front bumper. A quick rough guide is: remove 2 screws on top of grill Remove 2/3 screws in each wheel arch and then 4 under the bumper Like i said I have given a rough guide there maybe more/less and possibly another location
  20. I think when both supercharger and turbo are working you get the 1.2 bar of boost
  21. The kink over the back axel makes them a pain I would doubt many are a 'direct fit' as the length of the original is big. Try eBay again and try a worldwide search this will allow you to see company's from Germany, you get a few more that way plus there are little to none import duties/taxes
