  1. Hi. Just wondering if these are still for sale? And if so, what is the Eibach part number of the set? Cheers Mitch
  2. Driver's wing in good condition? If so, what is the colour code and how much posted? Cheers. Mitch
  3. Hello. I am after a driver's wing. But only if it's colour code is 9102 and in good condition. I'd very happily take it off your hands if you have one matching this description  Thanks very much. Mitch
  4. emil is correct. You need to engage the clutch, wait a second, then select reverse. Obviously with the vehicle stationary. The complaint is more common on the Citigo/UP!/Mii but it is normal. And states the above instructions in the owners manual.
  5. Good stuff! Cheers for the feedback. Just for future info in case anyone ever wants to know something random... A 58 plate Octy's LED flashes 7 times in quick succession straight after locking the car with the remote. Then flashes once every 2 seconds after.
  6. Any more news on this matter j0hn I think the LED in the door should flash every couple of seconds after locking with the remote. I will double check this at work tomorrow. The interior monitoring fault code you had is one of the most common codes on a Octavia around this age. Generally nothing to worry about and the sensor still usually work fine. As it says in your scan, the fault code has only occurred once and is intermittent. But at least you know it all works, like KBPhoto said. None of the other recorded fault codes on your vehicle in this instance would affect the LED. And yes, it is a separate siren making the noise when the alarm goes off. I'll let you know tomorrow what I find...
  7. Is the car still warming up? The coolant is reading at only 29*C. So this would account for the longer injection times and high idle speed. What is the problem you are having with the car? Not sure what engine you have but this might be useful: http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/m_blocks/index.html But it says at the top of the page: "for Gasoline Engines. Use as a general guide for engines starting about 1999-2000" Click 'Groups 001 - 009 General Engine Data' and the box under 'Adjustment requirements for basic setting' for readiness code meanings (conditions).
  8. Has the terminal 30 fault code been erased? And if so, has the fault code come back? And I have to ask... Have you had any work done on your tyres since just before you noticed these symptoms happening? I.e. new tyres, different wheels etc.
  9. Hello! You may have sorted the AC out by now. But incase you haven't... 2bar with the AC off is far too low. Generally, at around 15*C (bearing in mind the engine bay may be hotter than ambient temp) the refrigerant pressure should be around 5bar with the AC off. This should rise to around 9-10ish bar with the AC on at 2,000 rpm. My guess is a lack of refrigerant in the circuit. Maybe due to a VERY small leak. Or, if the car hasn't been regassed for a few years, then just due to natural loss of the refrigerant. 80g lost per year is permitted on slightly older vehicles. So if your AC circuit was charged at one time with 525g of refrigerant... After a few years, it could have naturally lost as much as 240g. This would make a big difference to the pressure in the circuit and to the cooling performance.
  10. I'm Mitch. A Skoda Technician in the South West. Have joined Briskoda for a broader range of peoples' faults and opinions on various faults and cures etc with Skoda vehicles. Hopefully I should be able to help with some problems people are having too. Cheers.
