I've used Tiger Seal to attach a spoiler in the past.

Have you checked all the fuses? there is more than one fuse for the interior lighting.

Take it for a re-gas. Some garages won't charge if it doesn't work, ask them first.

Mine just stopped, wasent gradual.

I had similar problems to you and a re gas fixed them. If the system is low on gas the compressor and fans will not cut in.

Take note of the mileage before it goes in

Map lights are 501 wedge. Center is 44mm festoon.

I had to slightly bend the metal contact's in the lamp holder to accept the larger led's i used. Its not very difficult just a bit intricate.

Yes they are easy to remove. I used a small flat screwdriver and gently levered out. Be careful not to break the clips

The clear light fitting in the boot will also fit the front door's. I got two from a scrap yard and used led's. I've had a few car audio items from group1rs and wayned. Both brilliant with no problems.

The Free-view box was 12V so it worked fine connected to the cars battery, I never had any problems.

I did this a few years back when I had a Polo. You don't need to crack the mirror, it should un-clip from the mount behind.
