  1. I have done a couple of regulators on these, not a bad DIY job.
  2. IIRC The main interior festoon is 36-38mm, the outer lamps and glovebox are both 501s / W5Ws
  3. Would be an easy DIY, Just use a universal pod and cut it into a spare vent.
  4. All i can add as a background at the minute is a sunset DSC_27361 by ~*Martyn*~, on Flickr
  5. Bought a d5100 for the missus a while back. great starter dslr and tbh you cant go far wrong with either model. As far as tips go, really depends on what you like and what you are looking to shoot.
  6. the original post did say c&c welcome!? Just pointed out the fact that the model is wrong and gave my opinion on the mk2 being far too narrow.
  7. If you are going for stance it needs s2000 arches or at least needs originals pulled IMO. I think the model needs some shadow aswell. Hard shadow from the car but none from the model makes it look wrong. Might be worth playing with the curves on the skin tones too...
  8. You will get a better response if you post the pictures
  9. And remember... thats what the insurance is for. I have a policy on my camera/lenses/flashes etc... covers up to £2000 claim, internationally, costs £30 per year
  10. When this thread appeared i expected BT = big turbo conversion vrs... Instead we get a thread revival... [/dissapointment]
  11. post the picture and im sure someone with photoshop can post process for you...
  12. Cheers Wilko! That one was lit with a homemade 12v halogen torch and a sb700 flashgun for the wheels i think...
  13. Funny this thread is up, the missus even said today, how about taking the vrs badge off aswell?
  14. I have a pic with the 'fabia' badge removed... DSC_1373 by ~*Martyn*~, on Flickr
  15. Spoke to the repairer, told him i was getting confused with how long i should be waiting. He explained it is different for different prep methods and different types of pain as said above. He said I should be waiting at least another couple of weeks. Not too worried as the process on the front will be mostly protection anyway. Just going for the same as above but without the menz 2500. Clay - Menzerna 3000 - CG Jetseal - CG Hardcore Carnuba... Just need to sit tight!
  16. Ill give him a bell just to double check, Just doubting myself on how long he said to wait now. Cheers Marty.
  17. Hi George, it was water based paint used. It was done by a smart repairer. Im not too worried about getting off the overspray and polishing myself, been a keen detailer for a while now. Not wanting to cause arguments, just want to know how long i should be waiting, if at all? It has stood untouched for a little over a week now. Wilko - shot with a sigma 8-16
  18. So, someone bumped my front bumper and i got it painted. Spent yesterday getting rid of the overspray... I had got rid of most of the dealers swirls when i bought it last year, but had the excuse to give it a full going over! Ph Neutral Snowfoam - Zymol Wash - CYC Claybar - Megs Scratch X (where needed) - Menzerna 2500 - Menzerna 3000 - CG Jetseal - CG Hardcore Carnuba... On to my question... I left the front bumper, painter says I need to wait a couple of weeks before doing anything. Anyone know how long i need to wait? And a pic for you all! (click to enlarge)
  19. Good choice, i had a pioneer avic in the TT for a while. Bear in mind you might need a harness for steering wheel controls and for the instrument cluster display. If that was included in the price for the fascia its not so bad...
  20. Yeah you will need a facia for a tidy fit. £50 sounds a bit steep to me though. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/products/con-ct24sk06-ct24sk06-facia-plate-for-skoda.html
  21. 0:21 for anyone who was wondering! Their youtube channel is a right laugh, Got to give the program a watch!
  22. Yeah each to their own... Would be a bit boring if we were all the same! As for the tints and smoked lights, i like them, just not with the white wheels and roof. And Dont get me wrong, im a massive fan of white wheels, just not keen on the look as a whole.
