It has just had a new pd150 turbo and came with 20 months guarantee, that's why I haven't suspected that -

Hi Ken, Unfortunately I dont know who done the map, I believe also it wasnt mapped on a dyno just via a laptop. Tbh the smoke isnt excessive, like I had seen on other fabias. I'm just wondering if the noise is meant to be there ( but I doubt it ) or if I have a boost leak. MPG seems ok but only had the couple a couple days. -

Hi dude, yeah tbh its not actually loads like you cant see the back of the car, but the smoke is there. Again doesnt seem slow and seems ok-ish on mpg, but is the whoosing sound like you would hear from a boost leak. -
Hi guys, recently brought a fabia and I'm having a issue. The issue is when the turbo comes in, you get this loud whooshing/hissing noise. The car doesnt seem to be bad on mpg, but it does give off black smoke. The car has had a darkside egr delete and a pd150 turbo, apparently its mapped to 180bhp. I have taken off the bottom boost hose (90degree from intercooler to turbo) and done the tap and dye method, still make the noise. I also checked all nuts and bolt to make sure everything is tight, but I'm not really to sure where to start, I did read somewhere that could be a split intercooler? Anyways if anyone has some pointer I would sure appreciate it, as I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be that loud. Cheers

vrs 170 tdi clucth dmf issue
The JudGe replied to The JudGe's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Cheers dude will have a read -
I think it's starting to slip, getting a few quotes and keep getting asked Wether I want smf or dmf. Has anyone fitted a smf and what's the difference? Some people say they chatter some people say they don't. I believe it's slipping as if 4th gear underlay changing into 5th at 2000 revs the Rev slight jump up a bit, doesn't do it in any other gear though. Thanks
-
Just got a quote from luk or what ever it is, the guy says its a genuine clucth kit for the vag models. Please don't hold me to that though, my quote was £499.93 for clucth, dmf and new set of bolts

Thanks for the reply gaz. Yeah looking through the records it shows it was done at 62k, loads of service by skoda etc. Nothing in the book abut 1 being done at 120k, as said it's on 156k so that's 100k without a belt doing, o got it booked in tomorrow for belt. Water pump. Auxiliary belt and tensioners, -
Hi people. I just purchased a octavia vrs tdi, and I am looking through when the toothbekt was done. I found 1 at 60k and then mainly services.... but I was looking through the book and found this. Pictures show, can people please give me advise o what this mean? Does it mean the cambelt was done at 120.000 !! The car is sitting at 156.000 Please thanks
