At this festive time of year it's as much about forgiveness as it is presents and tinsel.... i hope While everything for the calendars is in production it has been delayed due to intial colour issues on the first sample. This means my original plan to post last week has been foiled and i'm going to do everything i can to get them out in the next couple of days so they should, fingers crossed, arrive with you all before the New Year. Those of you overseas it is likely to be in to January before they arrive for which i can but apologise :( As said i'm doing everything i can to get them completed and out the door to you but for reasons i'm not quite sure of this year time really got away from me.

^^^ These 2 orders have been received safe and sound. and that's it. boom the door is closed. thanks to those who have been involved at any stage. The more pictures the better so thanks to those who submitted images; the more votes the more likely the best pictures will rise to the top and become the main feature so thanks to those who voted; and finally thanks to those who have purchased. The whole process is for nothing if nobody actually buys them! The bulk production button has now been pressed. I'm expecting delivery next week so will get them posted before Christmas so shoudl arrive in the gap between Chritmas and New Year ready for proud display on Jan 1st. Those who have not ordered yet I have negotiated a deal on individual productions though if you still want to purchase one. New cost is £18 each for the wall version and i'm not going to bother offering the desk version.

At the moment i'm going to close the doors on Friday next week. There's only 46 wall and 9 desk ordered so far so which is a long way off the 75/25 i normally produce. I'm not willing to be left with that much stock to shift so will probably reduce the order to 50/10 instead. We'll see

I'm not gunna claim the process is flawless but I try to keep the calendar community friendly and try to be as inclusive as possible. As such i try to include all models in the "winning" pictures as, to be brutally honest, that should help it sell better. That means some of those who finish in the top 12 in the voting, but 3rd in a certain model group, will miss out. It's a balance I try to meet and hope i succeed in, but i refer you back to the above venn diagram. Picture wise yes i could limit it to just 1 picture each to stop the split voting but, again with honesty mode on, I don'l think there would then be enough (good) pictures to fill the calendar. Voting wise yes apologies i did have TomR88s vote for RobClubley down as a 20 rather than a 10. That drops Rob from top of the pile with 103 to second with 93 and promotes Simbo to the favourite pic of the year (who knew people loved big white skodas airplanes so much) Jim I apologies for missing your votes completely I normally set up the gmail inbox in my work outlook at the start of the process so i can keep an eye on it; a step i neglected to do this year hence missing the email correspondence.

For those who have purchased blindly i can but thank you. Your faith in the pictures and in my ability to tie them together into something half decent is very kind. that said an evening locked away and the calendar looks like this. I need to update the dates/days to those in 2016 and update all the name tags on the pictures but the pictures themselves will remain where they are

Well the pictures were submitted, the voting took place, the design is in progress so without further ado i offer for sale the 2016 Briskoda Calendar!!! As per previous years they will come in either a wall hanging or desk CD Jewel case formats Production will be limited to 100 copies split between 75 wall and 25 desk. Wall Calendars are £10 each Desk Calendars are £7 each The above excludes delivery which is charged at £2 per order/shipment for those who need that explaining: 1 wall calendar will be £10 + £2 so send £12 2 wall calendars will be £10 + £10 + £2 - so send £22 a wall and a desk will be £10 + £7 + £2 - so send £19 Anything outside of the norm (order for 50 off, overseas shipping) drop me a PM and i'll sort out a price before payment. Payments are easiest via paypal to [email protected] Sending payment as a gift so i avoid fees would be lovely but understand completely if you do it as as a transaction with the extra security that brings. Please make sure that payments include user name, order details, and delivery address. I will keep a list up-to-date in this thread as payments arrive and sales are registered. yes and no There are tens of thousands of registered members yes, but of those it's probably only thousands who regularly visit, and of those i'd guess only hundreds regularly post, and of those there are just tens who are fussed about a calendar. That's not a moan i say it with no hard feelings and complete understanding. People are interested in what they are interested in. There are equally probably only tens who are fussed about meets, tens who are fussed about track days, tens who photoshop stuff etc etc You truly can't please all of the people all of the time. To be honest when I first considered doing a calendar I was just going to chose my favorite 12 and be done with it However a vote seems more in keeping with the community spirit I feel Briskoda has (and removes potential for moaning about the chosen pictures) Yes it's disappointing that so many submit pictures and then have no further input, but hey that member submitting a pic is more involvement with "the community" than if the calendar didn't happen; so i see it as a positive. In past years we've produced 100 in total. That was split 75 wall hangers and 25 desk CD case. But they not yet all sold so I give away any remaining ones to Freedom members just before starting the process again for the next year (August-ish). It's all open to change though; I'll start a for sale thread in a weeks time when the voting closes and should I have money and orders flood in for 250 i'll obviously produce enough to supply the demand.
