Saw a Golf R Estate on Ebay recently which had been made to look like a green line. It was a lot less money than the real deal. I think if you want to protect your car then theres many security features you can do before to make it less of a theft magnet.

Hi all, I am after some advice and help please, apologies if this has already been covered. I have a 2016 VRS Estate with panoramic roof, I'm wanting to upgrade the lights inside to LED. Can someone please confirm how many and what type of bulb I need to do the inside and the boot (I'm not too fussed about the red door lights). I don't think I have foot well lights. Any links would be brilliant as well. I have attached pictures of the interior light cluster. Thanks in advance.

My local Skoda dealer had my Mk3 VRS in recently to fix this issue. I was informed by them that they had to replace the whole unit. Happy to report that I've not had any issues since. I didn't realise it was such an expensive fix!

Hi there, I'd never owned a car with a pano roof before and didn't see any real need for one. However, I recently bought my VRS and spent several months searching for the right colour and spec etc. The VRS I eventually settled for had a pano roof along with several other options, the powered boot is used every day and I like the feature a lot, however the pano roof is equally as awesome. Let's plenty of light into the cabin and great on a sunny day. As it is an expensice option you don't see many with them either so it does add a little more desirability to your car.

Thanks for your reply, I had my previous Fabia 1.9TDi mapped by Shark in 2011 and it was brilliant made the car much better, recently swapped my Fabia for the Octavia and feeling the need for a map once it's out of warranty. Hoping that it will make the car much better! Is yours the DSG? If so did you have the DSG mapped as well or just the Stage 1. Did you go to their Mansfield branch and how long did it take? I'm hoping an offer may come up soon! Thanks again.

Thanks for sharing this graph, I will definitely be going to Shark in the new year once my VRS 184 DSG Estate is out of warranty. How are you getting on with the map, are those gains safe to be made and have you had any issues etc? Have you noticed any improvements to fuel consumption when driven normally? Is there anything else that I should be asking/ considering before taking the plunge? Apologies for all the questions and thanks in advance.

I tend to agree, I intend to take the tow bar off this week when I've got some time. I'll unbolt the hook for when I do need it as I want to get a tow bar bike rack.

Hi Sasha, Yes they are the grey ones, I didn't know they came in more than one colour? I love the colour combo of the quartz grey with the black pack plus. I'm very impressed with the car, absoloutely in love with it!!! I would be happy to meet if you travel past or even come to Wrexham etc. I'm not 100% sure of what I can unlock etc. If you could drop me a message that would be very much appreciated. Thanks Oli
