Levelling out suspension in a classic mini
Kartman replied to Maieth's topic in General Automotive Chat
Although remember once you start modding a mini it is a slippery slope from there lol. This winters supposed refresh and sill fixing has turned in a full on bare shell rebuild. I stopped counting on what I had spent on it since last november at 2K and I probably have another 2K to spend to get it painted and back on the road!!! -
Levelling out suspension in a classic mini

It may be worthwhile checking your back cones as well. Make sure they have sagged evenly. If the have sagged a lot or unevenly maybe best to replace them or at least swop them side to side (a lot easier that the fronts)! An alternate solution may be to buy a hi-lo kit, readily available from to likes of minispares and minisport etc. This will allow you to adjust the suspension height all the way round the car and could be used to correct the slight wonkiness. Although if you decide to lower it a fair amount then you will need shortened shocks as well. Hope this helps. -
I know! Can't wait for the new season. Plenty of exciting changes, cars and drivers Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk

I just logged in to pick for this weekends race (had both practises on at work today, don't tell my boss!) and saw I somehow fluked the yellow cap for Spa! The move up the ranks was greatly needed as my picks have been shambles for most other races. I hope my latest picks are as accurate

More than likely the printer and its box were made before/early in Windows 8 life. From what I have seen 8 offers the same printer support as 7 and if the included drivers won't work then Windows update should search online for them or like you said, failing that, download them from the HP website

Pretty sure if you have one it is located under the car around the area of the drivers foot well. Its a rectangle shape from what I remember with some sort of plastic around it.

Having used it for my university project, I can't say I'm too fond of it! The supported features list for different OS/hardware is rather optimistic! Sounds as though for what you propose that it should be sufficient as little if any hardware integration would be needed. It seems like you would mostly want an app that is basically a mobile site. You should get on well using the JQuery Mobile library tp make things pretty and some of the new HTML5 standards such as web storage will be useful for storing tyre and fuel info etc. To make it easier you can also use the PhoneGap Build Cloud service to push your app to their servers and have them build and return you all the native installers to save you maintaining all the mobile SDKs on your system. If you do go ahead and use it, it would probably be best to read up on Itunes App standards as phonegap does not deal with this very well and it may lead to your app not being approved by the app store. PhoneGap is good for generic apps however it loses the OS specific quirks when it comes to menu layouts and terminating applications etc. Drop me a PM if you have any more questions Jordan

Wishing you a speedy recovery Bodie! I also can't make this now. Original plan was to go to this on the Saturday and then to Edition 38 on the Sunday. However my mate has won weekend tickets to Edition and I am driving with him as passenger so looks like were going there Saturday and Sunday now! My apologies. I shall definitely be at the next one though. -
All being well we should be getting there before that so we can get tent up and get on the beers. However if you pm me your mobile number can come and find us and say hi at some point.
-
Not decided what day I am going yet but defo the sunday maybe sat afternoon to camp. I'm leaving from near Cambridge so we could cross paths along the A14 somewhere.
-
Yep although my cars far from immaculate, unlike yours! Thinking of camping on the Saturday too.
