Hi all, Just wanted to ask those in the know if it's fine and acceptable for me to sell a shark STS unit with my stage 1 map on it and it be fine for the buyer to use with his car? I have no engine mods so presumably this is ok to do? I'm selling as I no longer have need for it. Thanks in advance

Hi Switchblad3, Yes these are the Front arm Rear bushes, these are the only ones used off a cupra, all the others bushes are the same on both models apparently

A change in my circumstances forces sale of this iconic amp. Recently purchased from an ebay seller who had owned it for the past 21 years and described it as his reliable friend. This NAD 3020i intergrated amp is in perfect working order and very good cosmetic condition, with some faint marks on the top (see photo) It has phono inputs and three line inputs (CD / AUX. TUNER and TAPE). It has a soft clipping option and adjustable outputs for 4 or 8 ohms. Pre and power sections can be isolated. It also has a headphone socket. Rate at 20watts per channel its well known for sounding much bigger, see any of the many reviews online. Delivery is by courier or collection welcome. I have allocated roughly £10 for delivery so collected will be £75.

Agree - i had those symptoms and turned out to be EGR coking

Hi all, The other day i was driving through a flooded section of road when the guy in front of me stalled, causing me to stall as well, and we both had to be pushed out by 4x4's - very embarrassing :( The car was left overnight to dry out and in the morning it started! (after choking loads of water out) Had a chap from the AA come out to check it over and he said its a miracle but the engine sounds completely fine! The carpets on the other hand, were not so lucky! I had my mechanic drain the water out and we mopped up the worst of it with sponges and rags etc But that lovely smell of the river still remains, as does the constant fogging up of my windows :( Does anyone else here have experience of this and what i should do next? I've been driving round with the heater on full blast at my feet and the windows slightly open which seems to have made a slight improvement - in damp not in smell! Have also bought one of the moisture crystal boxes but there's no sign of any water collected in it yet - starting to wonder if i wasted my money there... Thanks in advance

My best ever was about 490 miles to a tank - i have no idea how others are getting North of 500 Average is 425 with fun mixed in

Prob not remotely the same sound but i had an annoying rattle / vibration sound for ages and couldnt figure out what it was. Turned out to be an empty can of red bull that was vibrating against some coins in the centre console behind the hand brake. Shows how frequently i clean my car lol

Ok! So the numbers are in! And I can confirm.......that I didn't quite make it :( The car managed 493 miles before the 10 mile display came up. I then pulled in to a petrol station (thank goodness there was one!) and filled up 43.66 litres which I beleive equates to 9.6 gallons. Bringing me to a grand total of 51.35 MPG (provided i filled up the same amount last time but it was in that area) and adding a mere 63 miles to what I normally get when enjoying the car. What would you all say is the next step to try? Clean EGR? Change MAF? Cheers

Ok, so im down to my final quarter of a tank. I can report that the first half of my full tank saw me 290 miles. It was disappointing from there on though with the next quarter giving me only 100 miles taking it up to just under 400 miles. The trip computer now reads 53.3 MPG and is suggesting i can go another 110 miles so say 100 before i fill up. Only time will tell....

Thanks buddy, If I do an EGR delete and get the engine management light, are u able to turn it off for me? Map car has a stage 1 map done by yourselves and an STS already

Ok I'll have a look Presumably it's possible to tell from the shape of the EGR connector pipe? I think one type is like a star shape and the other is just normal
