I haven't managed to find a way to set the temperature for my auxiliary Webasto heater. It starts up at 22 deg centigrade by default. This may sound like a dumb question, but is there any way to get the Webasto to cool the cabin down? Or is it totally separate from the air condition system? Yeah, as I write this, I can see it's a contradiction that a heater should work as a cooler, but have to ask

Carpro Iron-X should remove that surface rust pretty easily:

If your mats "leak", this might be worth looking into:

New car coming. How to keep it clean.....
quiz replied to birket's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
You won't be disappointed - great feeling to watch the degreaser pull off that dirt after you've covered it in foam! When you wash it with a mitt and bucket (preferably two, one of them with water only to rinse off the mitt after each panel or so), you will be amazed how clean the water is when you pour out the rest -

The one that comes with the Nilfisk is good for absolutely nothing - might look good with a plant in it, I don't know. Foam lance is the way to go - adaptors for the various washer brands are about £8. -

As for Autoglym lifeshine; I'd save the money for some good detailing products and a polishing machine, you can really stack up on far better stuff for the price of a Lifeshine-bag -

Seeing as the OP is asking for a good cleaning method to avoid swirls, I will continue to advice on this, while welcoming "how to obtain best resale value with minimal effort"-advices in another post. On to wheels: There was just the other day a poll on Norway's largest detailing site, the P21s (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B002EPLDXM) and Scholl's Rim 7 (http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=235788) came out sharing pole position. Keep in mind that with Norway's climate, wheels take a fair amount of beating. Great spray-on/rinse off-philosophy on both - nobrainer, if you ask me -

True - there is something called Zymöl sponge that supposedly works a little like micro fibre. So I guess you're partly right.. again -

If the only purpose was to clean your car, you've been right all along. But like I said; if the condition of your car's paint matters to you (which I gathered was OP's concern), you should choose more gentle products -

I would not under any circumstance towel dry my car after a touch-free wash only. The process you describe with a foam gun is just meant to pull off dirt that has been dissolved by your degreaser, and doesn't really clean your car itself. Much more important to learn how to prewash with appropriate degreaser/tar-remover than to foam. That being said, I own a foam cannon myself and love it, but as an exclusive method of cleaning it's pretty useless. A lot of washing procedures will clean your car, but the shine/wet look/depth in your paint will fade if you: 1. Don't prewash properly 2. Use a sponge (big no-no, use a wash mitt) 3. Towel dry without a mitt wash 4. Don't correct your paint with abrasive polish periodically -
Leather seats - bad production batch?
quiz replied to quiz's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I'll try with higher resolution (top section of side cushion, brighter area): It seems as if the top coating of the leather has simply been peeled away, like you would see on an old bean bag chair. The guy at the service center said that the side cushions were made from a different type of material from the seat cushions. I suppose that means "fake" leather, but he said they should be a lot more durable than this, and it was probably faulty from factory. -
After getting my Superb back from service I noticed a small damage on the leather in driver's seat. The head of the workshop said it was a production error (not sure if that's correct English), and the seat needed reupholstering. Anyone else had problems with their seats? Here's an image of mine:

When I decided to debadge it, the new badge hadn't reached the shelves yet. That's why I ordered the badgeless grill top cover, and I don't think it's possible to fit a badge on it.

There will be no badge on this car, hence the Milotec badge cover on the boot, and the mod shown in first post. Just wanted to show this as an option for people who want a different front, don't really care how many others who like it or not
