It's the sill lip I damaged , where the jack slots onto . Not the sill itself . Thank god . They seem to be very delicate indeed
-
No holes . Just sills crumpled up . I'd nearly try an sort it some how as any future interested buyers would be surely put off by it
-
Well my drivers side and passenger side sills are folded up into a mess after a bit of a quick front tyre change on my octy vrs using a trolley jack . I feel like a dope to be honest as I knew it would happen an I still went ahead and did it ... Now I'm worrying about failing an NCT test ( Irish version of MOT) .. Would new sills have to be welded in or should I just leave it ? I feel like a proper numpty

I had mine done at 70k miles . My and my car is 9 years old an was on it's original cambelt . The belt itself looked like it would do another 70k miles . Although the water pump had began to leak slightly .

Are we talking 96 000 miles ? Or 96 000 kilometres ? -

Cheers mate . I will get a few pics of it all soon . I'd be over the moon if I got a result like yours -

Well I'd be more than happy with that . Are the bump strips hard to remove ?
