  1. I want a 7 seat manual 190bhp diesel. Not available from what I've seen...
  2. More to the point, what if my daughter got her finger trapped? Ridiculous design! Hope Skoda sort you out - imagine the lawsuit in the states??
  3. As I said, in 190 spec, ie, 2.0 TDI, 190PS. I will only have a manual! Looks like it's an SE L or nothing... Might just keep the vRS instead.
  4. Looks like the Sportline is DSG only (in 190 spec)??? WTAF? Anyone confirm this?
  5. I enquired on Facebook to Skoda UK if the Sportline was coming to the UK: "Hi Jim. At the moment we cannot confirm that the Superb Sportline will be coming to the UK, however, this does not mean that it won't in the future. Thanks, ŠKODA UK" Hmmm, nothing yet then...
  6. WRT the standard parcel shelf - can it be retracted manually if needed? I really don't understand why this extra movement should cost £120? Think I'll be deleting that option...
  7. My M3 does this too - ignition off, one press to move to the new position. Ignition on and you have to hold it to get there...
  8. In what way? You can hardly blame them for it being so popular...
  9. Don't usually reverse up to a wall with bikes on, might go for a roof carrier instead anyway - as I'm not towing anything, I don't need the extra cooling/alternator prep/thingymabob. It'd be easy to get carried away with options but I've tried to concentrate on essentials/wants rather than nice to haves - if I'm buying a new car, I'm one of those that'd rather spec it for me rather than the next bloke... Nice to see no one has had any major niggles with the MK III.
  10. I really don't see a point to SLA, the standard Bi-Xenons have AFS and I've never struggled to move the lever so's not to blind anyone. Don't need lane assist or blind spot detection either, especially at £950... My spec would be: SE L Executive Estate Manual (DSG doesn't agree with me) 18" Modus alloy wheels Temporary steel spare wheel Front and rear parking sensors Variable boot floor Colour Maxi DOT trip computer Black Alcantara/leather upholstery Retractable parcel shelf (confused about this as the brochure says it's standard but the configurator charges £120???) Crew protection assistant & rear side airbags Tempted with the towbar (may get a bike carrier), but £765 seems rather steep! Decisions, decisions...
  11. Hi all, After having my Octavia VRS for just over 4 years, I'm getting ready to order a replacement (Superb due to an expanding family). Has anyone had any serious issues with their mk 3 Superb? I've already seen a few people mentioning suspension rattles, dash trim movement etc. Any more? Thanks in advance...
  12. Quite disappointed they removed the feature - my MK II VRS has a footrest either side of the pedals - neither the new Octavia or Superb have one on the right... Most of my journeys are 3 hours + so it does affect comfort. Bad Skoda... Very bad Skoda!!!
  13. I'm getting some figures together before I press the big order button - was told 22 weeks for delivery!
  14. It's the age thing I'm ****ed off about, less than 4 years old! If they're that bad they're almost a service item, they shouldn't be attached to a big expensive item! Ridiculous!
