  1. Interestingly I tried this earlier, the pedal returns to its proper place but lifting the pedal back that little bit more literally 1/2mm it returned to normal
  2. Been noticing my idle speed keeps getting stuck between 1000/1500rpm on my pd105. Anyone else experienced this or knows what could be causing it? Doesn’t do it all the time but it’s becoming more regular. A quick blip of the throttle and it usually returns to normal
  3. Selling my 2007 Fabia 3 TDi MOT until October 2018 136k full service history (last serviced end of January 2017) with invoices Being the 3 it’s top spec including: Climate control Cruise control Full maxidot sunglasses holder armrest in my ownership I have done the following modifications: LED headlight conversion Facelift Monte Carlo steering wheel, hand rake and gearknob and gaiter Blanked EGR (light on dash as not mapped out) silver indicator bulbs all round heko wind deflectors new, bigger battery the car is in excellent condition for its age and mileage it’s a credit to its former owners! The only thing the car needs is new rear arm bushes and will soon need 2 tyres (I do have Audi s3 avus 17” wheels currently fitted and for sale separately with as new tyres) on the standard wheels. This is the best Diesel engine to get, no dpf to worry about and cause issues. Bullet proof 1.9 TDi. Will get more pics (will clean the car first) when I’m not at work and it’s stopped raining. £2000 ovno and I am in Lincoln.
  4. I haVe 17” Audi S3 Avus on mine. With the 225/45/17 tyres the S3 runs it rubs very slightly when cornering or braking, but I’ll be fitting 205/40’s when funds permit
  5. Hi buddy, I’ve not started my project yet as I have been sorting other little bits with the car first. I will however, be starting to buy the bits to swap the turbo soon. I will make a project thread for it once I’ve gathered all the bits needed.
  6. My Fabia 3 came on 16’s and I found those comfy enough, road noise is mainly down to tyres. I have a cheap set for sale in the for sale section if you’d be interested. Might look a bit silly on 15’s
  7. To the top! Make a nice set of winters or cheap track wheels for someone
  8. Fitted Hekos to loads of my cars and I never use the metal clips. Fitted a set to my Fabia on Friday and I’m very pleased mainly because they have reduced wind noise
  9. Also got to factor in the price of the pd specific oil, although I’m lead to believe Vauxhall oil has the same spec and is much cheaper? The labour for all the work was £90 so I don’t think it’s that bad after all. It’s on 136k now and it looks very good for its mileage so worth spending a few quid on as I’ve got no plans of getting rid.
  10. It does indeed and I’m happier knowing that it’s alright again. Will cost me a few quid over the next couple of months but the car deserves it, for its age and mileage it’s in bloody good condition. The only thing that lets it down is the tailgate as it’s bubbling above the numberplate.
  11. 2 need tyres soon, they have marks and paint peel but are still presentable. At least 1 centre cap is missing, would make a nice upgrade to a lower spec car. £100 no offers, collected from Lincoln. Could possibly meet to help anyone out but would want payment upfront for that.
  12. Well, I got my car back at lunch time today, was done at the garage my ex partner works for as we still get on and I get to use her car while she takes mine for the work. I have ahd enough of messing around with cars and find it easier to pay someone else to do it. Turns out I also need 2 front tyres (selling my standard wheels for a set of 17's so didn't have these changed), Rear wheel cylinder as mine was seized, and my ns arb link was completely missing (I did hear a bang and a rattle in the arch the other day but ignored it). so the total bill was £248.58 inc vat. At least my handbrake feels a lot better now lol
  13. Been quoted £195 for a service consisting of oil, air, pollen and fuel filter change, and oil. Seems a bit pricey to me but I haven't had a car serviced in a while. My car is a 1.9TDi 105
  14. I had a turbo from them put on my pd130 A6 even after a few thousand miles it was still smoking. Couldn’t afford more labour to remove and then be without a car again and then more labour to refit a replacement unit.
  15. It’ll stay looking fairly stock, it’s a Fabia 3 so good spec already with climate, full maxidot etc. Want to add a couple of monte bits like rear diffuser, possibly wheels. Need to look at the front end though as the bumper could do with a splitter but not sure if the monte splitter would fit a standard bumper?
  16. Just wanting to know if anyone has swapped their 105 turbo for a 130 item and injectors? Is it plug and play or do I need anything else like boost hoses etc? I know it will need mapping. Also does it matter whether I get a kkk unit or Garrett? i would also be interested to know as I have read a couple of things whether a 07 pd105 has a smf or dmf? I’ve read some have smf and other dmf. Is there a way to check without having to remove the gearbox?
  17. I'm kinda thinking it might be a good idea to fit the mk1 vrs turbo gt1749v I think? Along with the injectors and then a remap. Just unsure whether the turbo is plug and play with the pd105 pipework
  18. Hi all, Had my new (new to me) daily driver for a few weeks now and fancy giving it a bit of extra shove. Was going to upload a Blacksmoke file to it as it's cheap and I have used their maps on various other PD's and have all been fine. However, when I try to read my ecu with me Galletto 1260 lead I get 'error send wake' message appear. Does anyone know if, like a mk4 Golf TDi you need to remove any fuses to turn off the dash? If there are any better remaps available for my car of a similar price (not interested in paying £250-300 as that would defeat the object of this car) that are local(ish) to Lincoln then I am all ears. Thanks in advance. Matt.
  19. Car looks amazing. Having the roof and mirrors done black makes a huge difference and is something I am contemplating. Good work
  20. Awesome looking car. Just got myself an 07 Fabia 3 1.9 tdi to replace my BMW 530d as costs needed to be cut. Tried convincing myself I'd leave it alone as it was cheap but I keep looking to make changes. Question for you, do you get much wind noise while driving? My drivers side (I'm sure it's through the door) is so loud! All other doors seems quiet. Road noise is pretty loud to. Wish I had the rear bumper diffuser yours has, looks great!
