  1. Hi mate, No its a cheap vag com cable from ebay and cracked version of vagcom, standard skoda radio.
  2. I cant get my 130 06 plate to talk to my vagcom, Ive tried two different laptops, different vagcom and cables but no joy, it crashes the vagcom program every time. What can i do without going to the stealers, Its an occasional Emission light now and agin. Thanks.
  3. I'd also like to know the answer to this question seeing as i will now be keeping my Superb throughout the winter.
  4. Well im losing coolent from my header overflow now and coolant likes to sit around minimum instead of maximum ?!! when i open the coolant cap some coolant returns.
  5. Might aswell delete this thread.... I take it people dont like powerbox's lol.
  6. Urgent !! Need a reply asap.. Will a tuning box from a golf gt tdi pd130 with round screw on injector loom connectors fit my superb pd130 ? They are not the rectangular connections but the round ones that screw to secure, I have come across a tuning box, a proper one from a golf pd130 but need to know if the skoda fittings are the same. Thanks.
  7. Sorry people, these are the last two concerns i have, everything else is fine, I did a search but couldnt find much.. Occasionally when cold my car has seemd to miss at idle, as if its "missed a beat" maybe once every 30 seconds from a cold start in the morning, does this a few times then its ok? Any suggestions, also when i prime the fuel pump in the morning, i can hear it, it sounds like there is air in it, i do it again and it sounds good.. I suppose this is normal.. Secondly i can hear what seems to be the coolant flowing whilst driving, like flowing water, consistent with revs, just behind the dash, i assume its the heater matrix but is it normal to hear it flowing? Out of all my cars ive only heard this once and that was on a range rover p38 diesel and that had a leaky matrix.. Apart from that the Skodas ok and i have just realised its an ex taxi whilst cleaning out the drivers footwell.. Cheers people.
  8. Yeah, it looks like it doesnt it... I had a proper van aaken box on my old 110 afn b5 a4 and it plugged into the actual loom, £300 bit of kit. Think i'll swerve that box and save up for a remap. Many thanks.
  9. Im contemplating it, buy the ones with the built in wotsit that wont give a bulb failure message, they are widely available on fleabay.
  10. Just got a reply from them right now saying this : Hi, The unit fits to the fuel pressure /viscosity sensor plug, it simply fits in-line with your existing harness I hope this helps any further information please don?t hesitate to contact us. What does this equate to? Im not too clued up on PD engines. ! Yet.
  11. I have been reading as much as i can about these boxes and weighing up the pros and cons of one versus a remap, i suppose price dictates in the matter so it will either be the box or nothing, now after looking around this company do a box which is claimed to take pd130 upto 163bhp - That will do nicely, now im unsure whether this fits between the injector loom (where the good ones are supposed to go) or fits onto the air temp sensor plug (where the cheap resistor, crap goes) Yet on the website, It shows installation instructions with pictures and a ten pin plug which is obviously the injector harness etc...... Yet the box itself and the video they provide shows it being fitted onto what looks like an air temp sensor with 2 or 3 pin connectors.. Has anybody had any experience of one of these from this particular company and if they fit on the loom or the air temp sensor, they say they are digital boxes. Cheers. LINK Powerbox Superb pd130
