Hi, I have cracked the right rear lamp on my 2017 Octavia VRs. I have tried a few places to get a replacement, but I have both times been sent the wrong part. It looks like I require the 'Hella' version with the black plastic backing, but everywhere I have looked only seem to have a different version with the white backing. Is there anywhere else I can get this type of rear lens from, other than Skoda Main Dealers?

I tow our caravan with my 67 plate VRS 245 quite regularly with no issues.

Please could anyone tell me where i am likely to find the colour code for my 67 plate 245 VRS? I have read that it should be in the boot somewhere, but cannot find it??

I have a 245 on xtremes and Pirellli rubber. I also have a VX220. At low speeds i find the tyres almost silent, but between 65mph-75mph they become very noisy. Almost on a par with the VX220 which is also very noisy. I think it must just be the tyre. I certainly won't be going for Pirelli again when its time to change!

We went red also (best colour!) I've seen a grey one knocking about not far from me, but i think it's a 15 reg.

This made me laugh I know what you mean about the boot. We had our car delivered and first think the wife said when she seen the car was 'doesn't look like the boot will be big enough' until i opened it!

Bought my 67 plate red hatch for SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than that a month ago, although nowhere near as many options.

I have been using the mp3tag software as provided in the link above and have got about 1/4 of the way through my collection. It has now come up and said that i only had a 14 day free trail (and want me to buy it) Have any of you purchased it, or do you have any other decent free alternative software you suggest?

Thanks again, After doing a bit more research, it seems that a lot of the data used for google maps is when you first set up the route and download it. Therefore if i do this at home on the wifi, it should use minimum data. Cheers.

Ok thanks. I currently only get 500mb per month allowance, so was hoping for something that didn't use any ideally.

Does anyone know of a good, reliable sat nav app that does not use any mobile data (like i believe Google Maps does), but is also compatible with Android Auto?

Thanks. In hindsight, realised that a plain microfibre would have been ok. Looks worse than i did before now though, so will maybe try fastglass later as that is all i have that will probably be suitable.

Whats the best way to clean the instrument glass and also the piano black inserts in my 245? Just tried wiping the glass with a baby wipe and it just seemed to smudge. Is it best to a glass cleaner? (I have AutoGlym Fast Glass) even though it is plastic? I am just a little nervous after seeing someone scratch their glass on here badly before!

Right, thanks to this forum i have manged to work out how to transfer CD's to my PC na have now added ID3 tags so that they are showing up in the correct order. I have added my first 4 albums, but before i do any more, one thing is bugging me. I have embedded the cover art for the albums and this obviously shows up, which i can 'swipe' left or right to show each album (which i have saved in separate folders). I have actually saved each CD into a separate folder to save confusion, as it automatically names each file 'Track 01', 'Track 02'. However, when i swipe across to some of these folders, the artwork isn't showing. Sometimes it doesn't show at all, other times it shows for a brief second just as i press on it. Any idea why this could be? Is it just a case that the unit cannot keep up?

Actually, i think i have worked out the software now. I think this is going to be a time consuming process!!

Yep, Just got a new VRS 245, but still got the old 2006 VRS as a workhorse (even though we don't technically need 3 cars!)

I started trying to transfer some of my old CD collection onto a 64gb, class 10 SDXC card last night. I successfully transferred the files from the CD onto my PC, then onto the SD card and set up folders under each Album Title, then Disc number. However, when i inserted it into the car, the layout seemed to be completely different. I think at least one of the albums didn't seem to be showing and some of the tracks were located in the root of the folder instead of where i actually put them! Any idea why this could be??
