  1. yeah i will check these out. the dealer to be fair to him has been quiet cooperitive with the whole situation since day 1 looks like he is looking to get the car fixed for me so fingers crossed.
  2. Thanks for all the replys i struggle to get on a laptop these days, the warranty company recomended a garage to me who have checked the car today to discover that 2 of my injectors are from a 1.4 3 cylinder fabia. so it looks like who ever had it before me has had a quick job done by possibly going to scrappies to get parts or something and then sold car. The dealer i bought it from should have checked the car thoroughly should they not have known this? warranty company doesnt cover that obviosly. so its a case of refund or they pay for the 2 me injectors. might have a fight on my hand?
  3. hi i previously posted a topic about my injector fault. i have had the car 8 weeks and only have 5 weeks left on my warranty...if thats what u want to call it. i have a 05 fabia vrs 50k miles on clock. the day i got it home the eml lamp came on and i got it checked at a well known mechanic company. it came up on diagnostics as a injector code. then i went to another company and they also said injector. got in contact with the warranty company, they told me they would need to send out there own inspector to check car before paying out. There inspector had said that there was not enough evidence it was injector fault.. the letter said i quote "they noted it was rough running and eml lamp was on, they advised its unlikley to be an injector fault but perhaps a sensor or engine bay wiring loom. the vehicle fault has not been identified and as such we are unable to authprise any repairs." now u can prob understand my frustration as i believe they are stalling before my warranty runs out. im really stuck with what to do because no company will check car if they believe they will have an issue bein paid. which is understandable. does anyyone have any clue what i should do. thanks
  4. hi im thinking bout colour coding my wheel nut covers to match my fabia vrs. i have a yellow one. im too scared to do it incase it looks naff. any suggestions? has anyone done it before?
  5. After getting a diagnostic test it appears there is a fault with the injectors. The garage won't do the job because they don't like my warranty company so I'll need to find some where that will do the job! I assume this is a big job? Surely this should have been known by the garage I bought it from and should have been fixed so car was fit for purpose.
  6. Hi everyone my name is David AndI'm rather new to the whole forum idea, my mate loves them and recommended I join up. So here I am! I've just recently bought myself a 05 yellow Fabia Vrs and over the moon with it! Wanted one of these since I was 19 but never been able to get insured. I'm disappointed to say my spirits have been dampened with little things with my Vrs with already finding an oil leak and my engine management light showing up now and again. Also it's struggling to start up in the mornings. All getting looked at tomorrow though at my local garage. I'm not much of a car whizz so I need to leave it to the pros. Thank god for warrantys eh!?. Anyway i hope to get the hang of this all and I'll have to get some pictures up. Thanks for reading
