Right. I have a guage but not sure on the size but need a pod for it where I'm not drilling foe wired and pipes I have found a guage siting behind the steering wheel. But for a mk4 golf. I'm looking to tastefully modify the fabia (vrs) I'm currently thinking to get some lowering springs for it - can only find 35mm paint the wheels or change them? what to? remap remove back box and replace with straight pipe induction kit?? anyone got any of this stuff for sale? maybe from breaking etc.

think I better update information at some point. but that is something which would be interesting. lots of work mind.

Really sorry for the late reply I'm on night shifts so sleeping all day. The weather is really cold as you all know and when I turn it on to warm up there is light white smoke almost transparent. and when I put my foot down when it's warm (only when it warm) there is a bit of smoke but I can only see this when other headlights are behind me at night time so there isn't a load of it constantly. also quite a low pitch humming (almost like a grinding) noise when I steer left. is this going to be wheel bearing? and finally. on down drive when I release the throttle there is a bit of a funny noise (nobody can hear but me) which is worse in 6th gear. anyone know what this is? I'm a but worried it's gearbox or clutch?

I'm getting smoke when my right foot is heavy and also a little on idle (this could just be because of cold weather it's showing up more) is this normal? I'm guessing it needs a proper service and have everything that can be changed,changed

three were gone. quite a bit of uneven wear in tho to be fair.. but he only did me for the one tyre :S he said he does one tyre for each offence. ill wait for the letter i guess.. hopefully it will be court via post rather than turning up for it. i did check them and thought, they need doing soon but as it was gripping nicely i had no clue they had got that bad. all replaced for 50 for some mid range.

The other night i got pulled over for no insurance but actually its because the insurers have still not put the car on the MID, but they were traffic cops from stetchford rather than solihull. "got some good news and some bad news, ill give you the good. YOU HAVE ONE LLEGAL TIRE"... Oh **** He showed me round them all and showed me tha guage on each one. He then said that due to me not having my lisence card on me as i have lost it it will be going through the court and i will recieve something in the post BUT. He should still have given me a producer to give at least my counterpart in. i got back into my car with nothing. he took pictures of my tires BUT NOT OF THE TIRES WITH THE GUAGE SHOWING THE TREAD. Any idea what this is showing for me? trying to scare me? obviously at the end of the day its my own fault for not keeping an eye on the tires.

okay cheers guys. what is the most psi you can run off these turbos? and also what turbo off other cars would be ideal for the vrs?

The other day i was on a bit of a mad one down a few roads by me, and then all of a sudden as i pulled off from some traffic i couldnt feel the turbo one bit. is this because i had been giving it so much that it was spinning so much it wouldnt create any more? because i put some more petrol in and after leaving it off for a couple of minutes it was fine again. also. although mine is standard, do i still need to leave the car running for a minute after driving it ? i know its not an after market turbo or anything but was wontdering if it was needed? thanks.
