Hi m8, Im just in the process of getting a Octy vRS, it's 3yr old and both fog light times are flaking bad, did u manage to find out how to remove the trims 🤔

hi , just need some advice...I have a 2015 Octavia with the 18"s and the centre caps are beginning to blister up , just wondered what size they are 58mm or 60mm ?

Sorry Dan due to the lack of interest it was cancelled...shame cos it's a massive event too. Had it arranged for the stand to be next to the durham & cleveland police interceptors and the 2 x vRS estates from the great north air ambulance

Cant understand why no one has shown any interest in this event...there is a load of visiting car clubs going to be attending this so thought it would be an ideal opportunity for us to show our cars and all meet up and have a laugh...and it was free

SKYLIVE Saturday 28th May 2016 Durham Tees Valley Airport Middleton St George Darlington DL2 1LU Its back...SKYLIVE 2016, Date has been confirmed for Saturday 28th May 2016 & with the Red Arrows opening the show. Participating Aircraft: RAF Euro Fighter Typhoon FGR4 Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight (Avro Lancaster, Supermarine Spitfire & the Hawker Hurricane RAF Falcons parachute display team more to follow . . . I have been back in touch with the organiser for this years air show and we have been provisionally granted a club stand for 15 x cars (possibly more if we need it). The club stand will be free of charge and each car displayed will receive 1 x free adult pass for the event. Cars / clubs have to be at the airport for between 08:45-09.00 , we can have a gazebo / flags / bunting ect (no BBQ's or gas grills) Nearer the time i will need your names/reg numbers/car details to arrange the passes then i will arrange to meet everyone before the event (say for breakfast at the local McDonalds to give out the passes) Its going to be a busy day with loads on the ground as well as in the air. It is with great sadness I have to inform you that one of our North East members "Duncan" sadly passed away suddenly last Saturday. Duncan attended many of the meets and was well known by quite a lot of you on here. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news folks

Need somewhere easy for everyone to get to ,I know you cant please everyone. Be a good idea to all meet up then have a run out somewhere, the Tan Hill meet couple years back was mint but we could do local like the North York Moors, stop off for a brew on the way. Or even for the more adventurous North Yorks Moors over through Castle Howard down to York, some really good roads & scenery too

Hi all thanks for the replies, sorry for the brief description, this is what i did . . . i went to http//updateportal.skoda-auto.com entered my vin , downloaded the updated file then attempted to copy it to the SD card but it wont copy to the card , i noticed you said to back up the card first then delete everything before copying it , so will give this a try. Ayone who has the new version , whats the difference in the updates ? is it just an update of maps ? sorry for been a thicko

Hi , I have a 2015 (March) Octy vRS with factory fit Amundsen satnav, i have put the VIN number into the Skoda portal site & it says there is a update (Nov 2015) i have removed the SD card and done everything as stated on the website but no joy ? any help or ideas greatly appreciated

Thanks for all the replies , i was just worried a bit lol glad its normal its just hit 20k and due its service , the oil light came on last week so i just topped it up with the Castrol that was in the boot. I was panicking a bit when i saw the temp lol

Hi , just wondered what the average oil temp was for fellow vRS owners (184diesel) mine goes from 90c upto 105c according to the maxidot just wondered if this was the norm

How about trying to jack up a meet at A167 Thinford Services (Durham) one night through the week ? Theres a Costa /Subway / McDonalds / KFC and decent parking too

Sorry folks about the air show , gives us a few months to plan our club stand .When I spoke with steve from the airport ref the show he is hoping to get the red arrows sorted for May & few more bits that they couldn't get for this show so fingers crossed. I might have a run out to the chippy on Saturday lol

Hopefully the great north air ambulance will be having their vRS estate response car on our club stand and I waiting for the Sgt from Cleveland & Durham road policing unit to see they want to come along. Few other bits in pipeline just a waiting game
