  1. I always quite liked the little Yaris Verso as a reliable and very practical package but I believe it went out of production more than 5 years ago and they were quite rare on the roads as well. (Probably because it was sooo ugly) I'm sure owners are very happy but I can't see the relevance of this model in such a survey if it's not been available for so long. Anyway Skoda does very well again.
  2. It's not a bad looking car but I have to say it has lost the individuality of the original. A lot more angular which seems to be the current trend and the interior is unchanged from what I can see. I certainly won't be rushing to swap.

    Not Happy

Had the Yeti 3 months and 3k miles now and cleaned it once a week. In that time not one stone chip or blemish, The Muscovado paint shines up a treat. Anyway the car was parked next to the house on the weekend and some Irk has put a 6 inch gash down the rear flank. I've polished it out as best I can but still very noticeable Not the go faster stripe I was after
  4. Me too. Also an ejector seat and I don't even have a sunroof.
  5. The names Note, Off Note. Licenced to **** people off.
  6. Feel free to ignore me anytime. You won't be the first
  7. Aw I'm gonna miss our special little pet Troll. Look out Nissan Puke owners, he's coming your way real soon.
  8. Remarkably, no seats were removed in the making of this epic. Just folded forward. The garage is still stuffed with crap. I could get it in the loft now though.
  9. For what is essentially a small car, the carrying capacity is pretty impressive
  10. £55 plus a box of Jaffa cakes. Yum.
  11. Definitely forget the Textile mats and get the rubber ones at half the price. They're brilliant.
  12. More likely there to deter the Flys. Maybe these are the ultimate answer to squashed insects on the bonnet. Hmm......Think I'd rather clean the car 5 times a week.
  13. You think that's bad. Anybody ever seen a black Roomster? Just needs a Grim Reeper costume to complete the package.
  14. If that's anyone on here then it has to be instant banishment.
  15. We should not be disappointed. If the new Yeti comes out looking anything like this picture then the retained value of our current models will go through the roof.
  16. Suppose it's down to the individual. I was offered a full walk through of all the functions on the car but knew I'd only remember stuff after consistent usage, so basically took the keys and headed for the door. Maybe its a man thing. We only take instructions when all else has failed.

    Waste of Time?

I dealt with a young salesman called Joe. He remained very patient and professional despite us taking around 6 weeks to do a deal. We got the 3 years free servicing package so we'll be taking it back at regular intervals.

    Waste of Time?

Apologies if I gave the impression I was knocking the dealer. Sparshatts have been a very good dealer to do buisiness with to date. I was given the impression the service was part of the official Skoda maintenance schedule It's good to have piece of mind and SWMBO was very insistent on having it done (It's basically her car anyway). I think in days gone by the 1K service would have included an oil and filter change, this was not part of the check today.
  19. I guess it's not the first Muscovado Yeti to be featured on here. It's not the best colour for staying clean so here's our 1.2 SE+ after being cleaned for the umpteenth time in just over a months ownership. If you're a dog owner I can't recommend this £7.50 accessory highly enough. Skoda Yeti rubber mats all round, Halfords seat protectors. Skoda mudflaps complete the extras. As you can tell I like to keep my cars protected

    Waste of Time?

I seem to remember a 1k service used to be a regular requirement when buying a new car many moons ago (Never could afford a new car back then so not sure on this) I was somewhat surprised as I havn't had this on any other new vehicle recently, apart from my motorbike. 5k sounds more realistic. Marie K. If you truly love your Yeti, you'd do the 1k round trip. It's a 1k service after all

    Waste of Time?

Just taken my wifes 1.2 SE plus for its 1k check up. Thought this was an official Skoda servicing requirement but turns out it's just a courtesy service offered by our supplying dealer, Sparshatts of Fareham. Anyway got up early this morning to drive the 20 miles there, dropped off the keys and was out again 20 mins later. Don't suppose they did anything that I wouldn't do myself on a regular check. If anyone's interested, they have a very nice L& K 170 in black for sale in the showroom. Only £27k.
  22. Have to say our Yetis are very similar in age and mileage. Your consumption is way better than mine and I'm usually an economical driver.
  23. Probably the most factual thing you've said. Also that kind of Customer Service out there would close them down in days. Unfortunately on some matters US does not transpose into UK. Back on topic, this is outrageous I hope SUK refuse to supply them with any further vehicles. I'd like to say their loss but I don't suppose they'll struggle to sell the vehicle. In fact I bet they already had an alternate buyer lined up which prompted their course or action

    WEEPING YETI

Yup. The more times we post about defective Yetis the more likely it is you'll **** off and get the RAV 4
