Don't buy. I have an early Mk4 Octavia and had a full 12 months of infotainment issues/failures to the point it fails every time I drive the car! Have 5 or 6 diagnostics at the dealer, 5 or 6 software updates, OCU swap out, airbag control unit replaced (as car completely shut down and electronic brake locked on), replacement clutch and gearbox. Had the latest software loaded after further diagnostics last week, infotainment faults were back within days. Car booked in next week for a 5F Unit replacement, as this is the only module that as not been replaced.

It has happened once in my Suberb Elegace Greenline, when my wifes handbag slipped down the side of the seat and operated the seat buttons, she started disappearing into the rear of the car!

Hi first post on Briskoda, Superb II, Hatch, Greenline 1.6 TDI, Elegance delivered yesterday. Cappuccino, with Onyx, extras: auto dimming mirror, heated washer nozzles, TPM and hill hold control. Ordered 15 June, delivered 7th October. Only driven 20 miles, mixed town, dual and motorway, but engine seems to pull fine, smooth and quiet. Not missing the 140bhp in my A3. Acquiring unplanned second dog next week, so would have gone for Combi if I had known. Bought the bespoke boot liner from Carmats4u, arrived last night, perfect fit. Need to get a bumper protector, has anyone got the Skoda accessory? Was thinking about buying and trimming a sheet of rubber to sit over the bumper and boot lip. Paul
