    I have just tried unplugging the egr valve and although I have an engine light (obvs) the missfire has gone. I will have a search for adapting egr on Google. Thanks for the response. And yes should have been 100bhp

    Hi there at a loss here, I have a 2001 fabia estate 1.4 Mpi that I have just replaced the egr valve on to resolve an egr too much flow alarm, the car is ticking over fine at idle and is fine under load at any speed but when trying to cruse at 30 - 40. Mph in 4th or 5th gear the engine missfire. I get no warning lights. I didn't see any issues before changing the valve. A yo e got any suggestions?
