  1. I had the same problem, it's either strip down anything in your way... or be a bit patient and it will come eventually without forcing it, it's a bit fiddly but it will come out, the harder bit is getting it back in, i put the filter in first then the housing over the top, couldn't get them back in when they where together.
  2. "We have adopted the basic rules for the New Meet that are used by other forums Meets this is to make sure we represent SKODA - TEESSIDE in a good manner. 1. NO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR 2. NO WHEEL SPINS 3. NO BURN-OUTS 4. NO DOHNUTS 5. NO DANGEROUS MANUVERS (Handbrake turns etc) 6. NO BLASTING SOUND SYSTEMS 7. DO DRINK RESPONSIBLY ANY BREACH THESE RULES AND YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM ATTENDING FUTURE MEETS AND YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO ADMIN ON HERE." Awwwwwww that is son un-fairrrr!!! hahaha, I'll come along to this, better leave the traction control on and pull away in 4th though or I may breach that wheel spinning bit.
  3. VAGCars meets are always really good, had one a few weeks ago in Hartlepool and that meet is the last windmill meeting of the year, always a good turn out with 100 or so cars (Really nice one's too!) everyone is always welcome along, should sign up to vagcars it's actually a really good forum with a lot more sociable people on it haha
  4. May not make Wednesday as I have a lot of stuff going on during the week but will try and get their, definitely up for one this weekend though.... Could also do with a pint of coke
  5. Take it this is jason? I'll see if any of my mates are up for it and we'll probably go for the weekend like.
  6. I was meant to go back at a later date to do the rest of my codings as my current ones are all fillet welds and i was meant to go back and get coded up to 6G but doubt that will happen as all training courses have been cancelled now, I haven't been there 2 years either so I'm not entitled to any redundancy money anyway, what a pain! I'll ask the question though always worth trying! Thanks
  7. Just been informed that in 30 days my full company is being laid off... niceeeee. Anyway, if anyone knows of any companies looking for fabricator/welders Coded up to 4F EN standard in bare wire MIG and experienced in MIG, MMA & TIG with steel, stainless & cast iron give me a shout In the mean time I'm going job hunting. Cheers guys & gals Liam.
  8. Poor excuses! I'm only saying that because I spent 3 hours machine polishing mine the day before... went a bit perverse on it shining my lights up the lot , was a good meet some awesome MK2 Golfs kicking about which made me happy shame none of them were a VR6 Turbo :( Someone was there in a limited edition Octy never got to meet them though but caught up with a few people I already know.
  9. I'll be there... sporting some roof bars since I cant find the key to take them off :(
  10. At the end of the day I don't know what they are worth, so I am not going to state a price such as £150 and get my eyeballs ripped out when I could get offered more for them, I don't see a problem with people coming forth with a price and me saying no, I'm not going to let them go for pennies... smart arsed comments get on my nerves massively on forums! Same old crack different day!
  11. Just attached a file to my original post, will get one of all four wheels tomorrow when i have a chance to clean them.
  12. Thinking of selling my genuine 2008 USA fender strat in Black with black scratch plate and maple neck, comes with all its original identification tags and its original job card from when it was built (can be traced back to it's build), will be in a fender hard case, in this case will be it's original tremolo arm (whammy bar), fender strap and fender polishing cloth. Not going to write a full thread on it with pictures unless someone is interested then I shall take some photo's and post them up for you guys. £800 Thanks Liam.
  13.
