Hi I am the new owner of a Fun. It has been a nightmare getting it sorted after the previous owner misled me about its history. My fault entirely. Anyway my problem is the rear wheel brake cylinders. The near side is one size with an actuator device on it whilst the offside is much smaller! Bodge job I feel. However we are finding it impossible to get the correct cylinder from part factors. Is there a definitive part number for the brake cylinder for a 2000 yr 1.6 petrol Skoda Felicia Fun?

Hi I own no 80 and have done so from 6 months old! Still stickered up and the light of my life! Clocked up 55k miles. Not bad in 13 yrs! I live in St Helens Merseyside -
I had a flat battery on my K reg Favorit. So I took battery off and gave it a good overnight charge. Refitted it and away I went. However the clock is time piece no longer works. There is no reference to the clock in Haynes and thee is no indication it is fused at the box. Has it just given up the ghost by coincidence or is there a simple fix? Cheers. Ps Car has just reached the dizzy heights of 15k miles!!

Thanks for all the advice. I think its true that she needs to adapt to the new breed of diesel. She had the fabia vrs mk1and i think she is comparing the cars. Having said that she loves the car especially with every available extra! (Ex demo) -

No floor mats but Skoda technical dept said it could be something to do with idling stabilisation something or another? All the same its an annoyance. -
Hi My wifey has a new Monte Carlo diesel 1.6. Loves it but is a bit perturbed by the fact that it accelerates by itself! You can break for a corner, take foot of brake and away it goes! The same approaching roundabouts. It happens in 2,3,or 4th. She is a motorway driver and not stop start,. The dealer said it is the DPF but this doesn't sound right. It is going back in for a more thorough diagnosis. I think there is a safety issue going on here. Any ideas?
