Past history: VW Golf owner for many years, from MkII, MkIII, MkIV(Currently still owned as a runaround!), 55 facelift Mazda6 2.3 sport for yrs. Loved front wheel drive set-up on all my cars.
Then went rear wheel with a 09 BMW 320d M-sport which was great quality engineering but for the spoiled hard ride due to run-flats and over-harsh suspension setup! The cost on those tyres man! So it had to go and I sold it last month.

Always hankered after an Octy vRS and, after 2 'nearly' buys, have finally taken that plunge and hope not to be disappointed!

Needed the estate version due to offspring (and their 'stuff') needing fetching & carrying to universities all over the country. Opted for a very highly specced car with many'toys' to keep me amused.
But seriously, so far it seems all to be quality built and I'm thoroughly enjoying it each time I take it out on the road.

October 2013 - Sold-on the vRS at 36,000 miles and note that it was bought by fellow Briskoda member a7788.

Now I've returned to my old favourite 'VW' and got a CC (Passat) GT with some nice options and a (wait for it!!) a diesel engine. Missing the power and the fun already. Maybe return to Skoda sometime. Staying on this forum as it's a valuable info source with helpful members.
