  1. hello all I've had a read through the forum and cant seem to find an answer to my question. I've got a vrs 51 plate on 92k the steering wheel isn't straight and you have to hold the car in a straight line if you take you hands off the wheel it jumps to the left. I've had it laser tracked by two different people the second time was told it was 3 degrees out the set it but the wheel still wasn't straight and the car still pulled. I've since replace the anti roll bar D bushes and the lower arm bushes with the TT solid ones. ive got a slight knocking which sounds like a drop link im going to replace next week. is there anything else i should change before getting it tracked again? or is there anything else i should be looking for? I've checked tyres pressures as do them once a month ive swapped the wheels left to right but still does the same. my dads suggested changing wheels front to back but cant see this making any difference. its really bugging me now i just wanna get it sorted. thanks for any advice chris
  2. I've ha trouble trying to fit mine can't get the filter in place unless i remove the bumper or wheel are liner also my lower bracket i can't seem to get lined up they emailed me instructions saying i had to relocate bits
  3. i have a smilar fault my fan kicks in just after the say intake stops and I've fitted a new cts and its still the same what could it be
  4. do they need programming? i think mine is playing up as my door led doesn't work and sometimes the drivers window thinks its shut when its still open a few inches when using the one touch.

  7. i had a pd150 golf and when i thought my turbo had gone i was looking around for an aftermarket one not an upgrade just not one in a vw box and a few sites listed the 130 and 150 as the same turbo. i know it doesn't 100% answer your question but i always thought they was the same it was other bits that gave the higher power
  8. that was for sale a few months ago advertised as a show winner for silly money id give £500 just to have it for spares lol
  9. I've slowed down since getting my vrs as I've gone from a 50+mpg derv to doing 27mpg in the vrs lol
  10. only going by what I've read on here no need to be so arsey.
  11. if you already have it remapped i think theres very little exra you can get from the standard turbo think 225bhp is tops and a remap takes you to around 210 you would need a upgraded intercooler of some kind a decat and exhaust system anything over that and i think you will need a bigger turbo and going stage 2
