That was what i decided and the reason I have one on order. Don't get me wrong the Fabia vRS is a great car but after a new engine I would not buy another. I was waiting for the new fabia vrs but of course now we know it will not be coming. It was not until I test drove the Fiesta ST that I realised how much I missed the control you have with a manual gearbox. I was just getting lazy with the DSG and the Fiesta woke me up.

If It's the same as mine you should have, I don't think they can complain about a couple of stone chips and slight alloy damage.

Wife's Vrs (Now DS3) traded in...Again!

Your right they are expensive and sometimes I find it hard to justify paying all that money for one. I could buy a nice sensible car with good economy and small engine that could get me too and from work with no fuss and save a few thousand, but then I would not have the fun of driving and the smile on my face. -

I have gone down the Fiesta st road and ordered mine today.I have been looking for a while at different cars to replace my Vrs which I thought would be hard to do. I got a pretty good deal as they are taking my vrs of me for £9300 and I still owe £9200 so that sorts that out. I have gone for the st2 in Metallic blue with style pack, sat nav and a proper wheel all for just over £17,000. I paid more for my vrs 19 months ago. The main thing I will miss is the DSG but the way the Fiesta drives hopefully will make up for it. I might not have changed cars but for the oil problems, as I have already had a new engine and it's done less than 9000 miles. So roll on September and I will see if I made the right choice. -
So maybe a bit more claying will help?
-
It is looking better and if I did not show you where it was you would not know it was there, but i know it's there and it's going to bug me every time i look at the roof. Bloody Birds......................

My car had an Autoglym super resin polish with the HD wax to follow about 2 months ago with a couple more quick wax's since then but this bird still managed to damage the paintwork.

I tried scratch x and it did work slightly but the surface off the blemish is still a little rough to the touch. I tried a clay bar with some detailing watery wax for lubrication and it has made it better but I don't know how much I should keep using it before i do more damage if the paint is too thin.

Went To wash the car today and found a large bird turd on my black roof that must have been there all day yesterday baking in the sun. It washed off easy enough but has left a stain or burn mark on the paintwork. I have tried polishing it out but it seems to be right in the paintwork. Any ideas how to get it out without damaging the paintwork.

My friend just brought the white vrs with black roof and I think it looks great but he has already told me he would never buy another white car again as they get too dirty too quick. I own the red one with black roof and even when its dirty it still shines.

If the new Fabia Vrs was out by dec 2014 that would be my first choice. I would not keep my current Vrs longer than 3 years because because of future problems that might occur. I have loved my car but because of reliability worries I would not take the risk. So that only really gives me one choice and that is the Fiesta ST which I know is not the perfect choice.

I must admit I'm very tempted by the new Fiesta ST but could I live without the DSG ?. I need to change my Vrs by December 2014 and I don't think the new Fabia Vrs will be out by then so at the moment the Fiesta looks the best bet, even with it's boy racer looks.
