  1. During the storms, I've found the rain blattering on the side window obscures driver's view out - similar with side mirror. Anyone fitted a wind/rain deflector to resolve this? Problem comes from not having a rain channel feature on the roof.
  2. Wondering if it's practical to replace standard headlights on two year old model; with this fog, seems to me I could do with brighter lights if possible... And with only one reversing light, easy to fit a second on right hand back? Glad to hear comments. Thanks.
  3. I wouldn't recommend Orange, but use PlusNet ( a BT arm's length coy, I think) is a good supplier and cheap - but you do need a BT line currently abt £13 per month....
  4. These keyfobs comments are v.interesting; I had trouble last week with mine(2011 Fabia estate). After having the bonnet up to add screenwash, both of our family keyfobs failed to lock/unlock... Alarm even went off the second time and I had to prise open the fob, remove battery and replace to stop it. (RAC half way over to help when the keyfob started working again). Wondered if I'd shaken something loose on closing the bonnet? Also, must confess I've failed to locate the OBD II socket - any hints welcomed!
  5. Thought I'd read it thorougly, but will check. Thank you.
  6. Amazing! Thank you. How did you discover this? I'll certainly try it next time if the fault happens again - far better than prising open the keyfob each time to get at the battery.
  7. Has anyone else had problems with the Skoda electronic key fob? Twice now, after having topped up the screenwash and dropped the bonnet lid, I’ve found it would not operate the locks and today, somehow, set off the alarm after I’d tried various combinations to operate it correctly...? I’m wondering if it could be a loose connection, maybe dislodged when closing the bonnet. Only by removing the keyfob battery, then replacing it could I stop the alarm, and use the fob normally. Weird.
