  1. Mine sticks to full for the first 170/180 miles - car parked nose first on a fairly steep drive. If parked reverse then no issue - strange one and one I've mentioned with my dealer but always clears as around 170 miles and starts to read correctly so not a big issue.
  2. Thanks for replies - yes call had definitely cleared down. Deleted the phone from the system and rebooted and no joy. Left car for a couple of hours and when returned everything fine! One of those mystery's I guess - just keep an eye.
  3. Was working fine, ended call and then made another. Phone clearly ringing the other end and answered but at no point did the ringer come through the speakers and the receiver never heard me speaking but did answer the call. Not sure if this is a bluetooth issue as I can still play through the car speakers music etc from my phone and receive messages etc. Any ideas on a solution or is this a faulty module? I was going to unplug the connector under the drivers seat but looks like the design has changed from my previous 2012 Octavia - if pulling out the plug is a possible fix how do you release it? Phone is a Oneplus3 and has worked without issue up to now. Cheers, Andy
  4. Had the car 6 weeks or so and noticed two indents in the drivers seat - were there on collection but took the view they would soon disappear. Unfortunately not. Dealer says they have never seen this before and have ordered a new cover - this though is currently not in stock and upto a 6 week wait. Anyone else ever had the same issue?
  5. Conversation I had a couple of months back was similar - one sales guy said there was a new Yeti for next year based on style to a smaller Kodiak, spoke to his manager who had seen it and was definitely a 2018 model and not 2017. Just about to take delivery of the current Yeti as I like the style as most current SUV's seem to be much of a muchness style wise.
  6. New Snow Monster arrives Wednesday - quick question on the current bluetooth Skoda use. Has RSAP now been dropped or are VW group still using this? Current phone (HTC One M7) was modified to allow RSAP and worked just fine on my 2012 Octavia, but this is overdue an upgrade and was curious if the system had changed or not? Thanks, Andy
  7. Just brought one of these to track the wife. Works a treat. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111201679112?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  8. Done deal here also - Octavia 1.6 TDI Elegance leaves the fold in October to be replaced with a Yeti Outdoor 4x4 DSG L&K in Jungle Green with just a spare wheel as an option. 3yr PCH (£2250 + 35 x£214.10) from local dealer. Includes VAT and 8k pa.
  9. Coaster390, you say you choose the black seats - assume wasn't the L&K model as brown only listed? Some cracking deals on the L&K on personal lease just now which are cheaper on the monthlies than the SE L for example so thought just live with the brown seats. Having said that viewed a jungle green L&K today and think this combo with the brown seats actually looks pretty good. Previous preference was going to be quartz grey in SE L trim - whats the general consensus on best colour for the L&K?
  10. Currently in the market for a new Yeti (Outdoor SE L 4x4 dsg). Checked Carwow (not great pricing tbh), brokers coming in 18-24% under depending if you want a car pre registered or not. And coast2coast who beat everyone but you have to take their finance (although you can cancel in 14days?). During my search been trying to unearth who the company is in 'the midlands' who supplies these heavily discounted cars - had a call today via Skodashop and Rainworth in Mansfield offering a very good deal, to the point I'm thinking it must be them. Anyone else had similar experience? Ideally wanting to go direct to source, but problem still remains I'm not buying in bulk!
  11. Guess the SD card route would solve the problem - believe it or not but 500gb+ of music which when I think about it is somewhat excessive!
  12. Looking at a 2016 model Yeti which has the USB in the centre console. Currently have a 2012 Octavia with the MDI cable in the glovebox - ideal for me as I use a harddrive with all my music stored. Has anyone routed a USB to the glovebox or elsewhere? as not wanting to leave the hard drive on display and in the sun. Also, if this USB is used with the hard drive option I'm assuming that smart link & Android Auto would be pretty much pointless as my understanding is the phone must be connected to the USB for it to work? Think not having 2 USB connections is an oversight on Skoda's behalf.
  13. Also looking at the Simpsons PCH deals (once got the head around a long term rental rather than ownership!) Looking at the 4X4 DSG in various forms but 15000 per year. L&K would be the best value (I've amortised the £2250 over the 24 month hire for ease of comparison). Your quote is as follows: Offer type: Personal Contract Hire (£338.13/month) Mileage per annum: 15000 Model: New Skoda Yeti Outdoor SE 2.0 TDi 4x4 150ps DSG - Free Metallic or Solid Paint Initial rental: £2250 23 x monthly rentals of £255 (inc. DAB Radio, Space Saver Spare Wheel) Or Offer type: Personal Contract Hire (£354.42/month) Mileage per annum: 15000 Model: New Skoda Yeti Outdoor SE L 2.0 TDi 4x4 150ps DSG - Free Metallic or Solid Paint Initial rental: £2250 23 x monthly rentals of £272 (inc. DAB Radio, Space Saver Spare Wheel) Or Offer type: Personal Contract Hire (£359.21/month) Mileage per annum: 15000 Model: New Skoda Yeti Outdoor L&K 2.0 TDi 4x4 150ps DSG - Free Metallic or Solid Paint Initial rental: £2250 23 x monthly rentals of £277 (inc. Space Saver Spare Wheel) With regards to our current stock the only option that would suit what you were looking at is here: http://www.simpsonsskoda.co.uk/used-vehicles/5952189-skoda-yeti-se-l-2.0-tdi-scr-150-ps-4x4-dsg/ The prices for this particular one would depend on how you were looking to finance it. Please let me know your thoughts on this. All quoted figures include VAT. There are no additional admin fees. Road Fund Licence is included for the entire period of the agreement. Excess mileage over the 30000 total would be charged at 7.2p per mile. So if, for example, the car's mileage was 34000 when it is due for return - then the excess mileage charge payable would be £288. In order to get the car as specified we would be looking at placing a factory order. Depending on exactly which vehicle you were after we would likely be looking at a factory order of anywhere between 12 – 17 weeks. It is simple to secure your order and reserve your new car, all that we require is a £500 card payment.
  14. dsj20v, it was me who used this as an example to show there are other routes to ownership other than PCP. I am just about to order a VRS DSG Diesel from a broker - my dealings to date have actually been with John Robertson at New car discount and reviews would back up as a good service - 20% discount, not pre registered and supplied to leadtime from a UK dealer. Another one worth a shout is Varissa - they are more hands on and on the face of it would be a good bet also. I mentioned 20% from them and they said no problem and would be able to beat in the event of me being ready to place an order. These cars are not imports but cannot speak about my example that was quoted. Try http://www.cars2buy.co.uk/ to compare deals.
