This is a good thread. I have this issue with my 170k mile Octavia 2. It has got worse over time. Are there any know issues with suspension wear like bushes, dampers etc. or is more likely to be a geometry issue?

Hi all, My first post, so please be gentle! It's a super forum you have here My car seems to warm up fairly slowly (I've not compared it with another, it just seems to take quite a few miles to get full water temperature) Also, the other day I was sat in a queue on the motorway and the temp actually went down from the usual 90C It's due a service soon so I thought I would get any water temp related bits changed. Are there any sensors or a mechanical temp switch I should be swapping please? David
