Could you name a more powerful Diesel engine in a similar sized car from the ages of 2003-2007? If so I'd like to know I ain't being funny but all diesels of this era where around the 130bhp mark also the 1.9 might only have 130bhp but has well over double the torque figures and that alone makes it just as quick or even quicker than rivals like the fiesta st150 206 gti (140) Mini Cooper destroys it and can keep with an S. It's a very underrated little car and if you haven't driven one you'll be massively surprised by the thump it gives you when you plant the smokey pedal! Not to mension 50+ mpg without even batting and eyelid.

Not being picky or anything and I know some people hate diesels and think the VRs is the devils work because it's a sporty small car with a Diesel engine rather than a 2.0 16v or what ever but why don't you like 1.9's with 130bhp? Is it too big with too little power? The fact it's a diesel or too powerful for a 1.9? But confuzzled! On the other hand you can put the 2.0 8v 115bhp engine in but for the money it's just not worth that extra 15bhp :/ possibly look to putting a 1.6 16v out of a polo/lupo gti in it with 125bhp? Depends on how open your mind is! As for the 1.4 it's good power at 100bhp and you won't see much more from with without spending ££££

. I actually could rip a guys head off who lives across from me who does this! Every morning we set off at the same time and every morning we get on the motorway and he flys up the slip road goes straight into the outside lane and sits there. I've only ever managed to move him over once! And after I passed him he moved back out when there was nobody in the middle lane. It makes me chuckle tho coz he has a 1.9tdi Audi a4 b6 2007 and he thinks he's something special.... He does know the 2.0tdi is where it's at right??

my biggest pet hate is say your doing 40 in a 40 zone and people are overtaking you? what is the need im doing the speed limit so what is the problem. Also drive a van and speed laws for vans is different to cars but nobody knows this! For instence on a 60mph road in a van ( Renault trafic to be precise) you have to do 50 BY LAW. Why people get annoyed at you or my fave was when this guy over took me then slammed on in front of me and slowed down because i was doing 50 in a 60. I told him to look up the law on driving a van after we had a bit of an argument at the junction up the road.

Cars starting to look tip top mate can't wait to see the finished article! Are you going for the full job lot inc decals and the pokey through bumper exhaust? It will still look sick! A friend of mine build a J-wrc fiesta st turbo (most people who are a bit of a petrol head will know the car I'm on about!) MAD ST. Anyways that has some right road presence and always gets looks where ever it goes! Also with its tasty 330bhp it goes it goes like a train haha! Can't wait to see the finished thing! I don't have many wires for mine and the culprits look like the ones in the picture! It just gets so far in and stops and I've had a quick ganders and it looks like its possibly them also a Couple of tiny little bits on the top of the storage tray thanks guys! Crack on with that this aft!

What do you have to modify/shave/bend or what ever to make a single din head unit fit in the old units place? As I'm having trouble it seems to be catching and won't fit flush :/
