  1. Seems to be lowered... What springs do you have on it? I'm currently thinking of lowering my RS iV but i think only Eibach has some TüV approved spring set for the hybrid?
  2. Thanks! I should have learned by now that you should never say never... I think i will make the same mistake with my future cars also.
  3. As i said on an earlier post the upper part of the bumper is PFL and the lower is FL. It's cut in half righ about in middle and the headlight washers are from PFL as FL washers are too high and they do not fit under the headlights. If you are interested in more details, we can continue this with PM so this thread is not full of offtopic.
  4. Yep. There's still some aligment to do with them as they are pointing slightly too much down and it now beeps for even speedbumps if speed is low enough. Did not have the money for 20" OZ wheels so those 3-piece RH's with Radinox lips will have to do for now.
  5. You are partly correct. It is a Pre-FL and FL bumper hybrid. I don't like the FL headlights (no offence) and wanted to do something that is different and has never been done before (at least not to my knowledge).
  6. Finished front end mod. So far i'm liking it alot.
  7. Got a link for that pipe? And what modifications have you done to the air intake?
  8. Now the mod is done. Parts needed: two heat shields, one bracket to hold the right side silencer and two exhaust tips from petrol version. From the picture is missing one plastic bit in front of the left rear tyre and it covers up the welding so no one can notice it. You could also use the whole exhaust pipe from petrol version but i did not want to add the middle silencer as it is not needed in the diesel.
  9. To get the exhaust fumes from both sides of the car. It looks silly in the winter when only the left side produces steam as the right exhaust tip is fake. I know that this sounds silly for you petrol guys.
  10. I bought a rs230 exhaust and i'm planning to put it into my TDI vRS. Has anyone here done that before? Didn't find any topics related to my question here but i found some german sites where someone has done it but i don't undestand the language good enough. If i understood correctly the diameter of the pipe is smaller in TDI (53mm vs 63,5mm ?) so i need to get an adapter for it and also mounting bracket for the muffler to the right side of the car. The exhaust tip that is bolted to the bumper has also to be changed to petrol version or the exhaust fumes end up below the car.
  11. Registered to erwin and paid 7€ for an hour and dowloaded the electric diagram from there. So this is now sorted...
  12. Would someone happen to have access to O3 FL electric diagrams? I need to get the pin order for FL vRS fog/cornering lights. There are three wires but don't know which one is ground etc.
  13. It started raining just after washing. My typical luck.
  14. Nice! Really looking forward on your review of the quality on those fenders. Could you post some pics of them before prepping and painting?
  15. How much did that splitter and diffuser cost and where did you get those?
  16. How big is the weight difference between those alloy arms and standard version? Trying to understand here what is gained from changing them?
  17. Yes and no. He was referring to rim and i was talking about tyre threadwear. Rim can be over the wheel arch but tyre threadwear not, but that's in Finnish legislation and i don't know how it is in your country... Sorry for OT again.
  18. Nice car! I have to ask where you can buy these: H&R Deep coilovers? Did not find those from the H&R website, so i guess they are custom made from H&R Monotube coils? OT: Not true. It is illegal if the tyre threadwear is over the wheel arch edge.
  19. Central Electronics Control Module from FL RS is required for enabling the DLR's in factory style. You can also use fog light wiring (+resistors) and code them with VCDS to be used as DRL's. The problem is then that you have to build the foglight wiring and relaying from scratch as i did (not very OEM style to do it, but worked for me).
  20. It is the Superskoda one that can be found here: http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/OCTAVIA-II/Octavia-II-RS-rear-diffusor-STUDIE-RS-v2
