  1. TP Many thanks for your replies and for taking the time to search for a 105 PS - looks ideal and around the right price, plus it come with rear parking sensors. Will investigate further, Thanks again.
  2. I'm thinking of changing my Roomster for a Rapid and was wondering whether anyone on the forum could give me some advice. Looking at the Rapid as a family car for four of us for mostly driving around town with a couple of (fully loaded) trips on holidays down to the West country in the summer. I'm wondering whether the 86 PS has enough pulling power? (will it cope at 70 mph fully loaded - I realise that it won't be like my 1.9 Roomster, which is very speedy) The 86 PS I'm considering is a 2013 plate ex-rental having done 13K - does anyone have any experience they could pass on about buying an ex-rental Rapid? Anything to look out for? Thanks in advance
  3. Really loving our Roomster Scout 1.9 TDI, but have come across a problem with the back seats: they won't slide forward (or back) and seemed jammed in position, although they fold down ok and can be removed. Has anyone come across this? Many thanks
  4. Thanks for all of your replies and advice. Off to see a 1.9 TDi Roomster Scout tomorrow [although would love to find a 1.2 (105) TSI on my budget] - just wonder though whether a diesel is a good option as we only do 6-7000 miles a year and if I'd miss the rear parking sensors that I have on my Fabia.
  5. First post here, although I've been a Skoda driver for the last 8 years! Currently have a 54 plate 1.4 Fabia Estate Elegance - lovely car but starting to show its age, so thinking of changing shortly for another Skoda. I have been looking at the Roomster as an alternative to the Fabia Estate, but can't decide whether it is a good option for a family (two adults and two junior-school-age children). Seen an ex-demo Roomster 1.4 3 or 1.9 TDi 3 at local dealership that look interesting. Any advice would be gratefully received.
