hi.i have just fitted 4 new 16" winter tyres to new rims,No probs fits lovely.

I have gone through to same symptoms recently and checked all that you did but as the fault starts to become more evident to pick up i becomes more obvious.I was a mechanic 8 years ago before mass flywheel were being used and over the last 2 weeks i have understood what a useless design it is.It will proberly be the mass flywheel get a replacement smf fitted it will be far cheaper.

hi.I,ve got a dsg as a taxi and it was ok in the snow last year but i have invested in 4 nice new winter tyres this year so it should be interesting,i will let you know in due course.

thanks for all your replies,I,ve managed to locate a replacement smf for my mass flywheel set up for my dsg octavia 2 it is being fitted tomorrow so after much checking application and desiding weather to go for it,watch this space i will let you all know. !!

hi just read your post was one of these conversions carried out on a tdi octavia with a dsg box,please say yes !!!!
