  1. Hi, I drive a Skoda Fabia Estate 1.6 tdi SE cr 105, 2010 plate, 39k on the clock Just this morning I was pulling out of my drive and found a loss of power and a judder on acceleration. As though I was trying to pull away in 3rd or something. This continued as I changed through 2nd and 3rd and then stopped after about 30s of driving. It now seems fine and I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas as to what it may be. I took the car from Hull to London and back over the weekend and had no problems with it Thank you. Steve
  2. In addition, the guy at the garage said it's quite common for this to happen on cars which aren't driven longer distances regularly as the corrosion builds up more - not sure how valid that is.
  3. Ah the perils of ex hire cars. My Fabia SE Estate 1.6 TDI has just had its 20k service and needs new brake discs and pads I bought it a year ago and it had 14k on the clock in 7 months, so I think that's where the damage was done with mine, too.
