  1. Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but it seems that the chinese has an option which is not available here in Europe: http://www.skoda.com.cn/skoda/s/images/wallpaper/yeti/yueye/1024x768/3.jpg More pictures on their website ( http://www.skoda.com.cn ) of Yetis both with and without this option. Makes me wonder what they did to the hinges. Does it still swing upwards or what?
  2. Here's a picture of the double visor on page 18: http://skoda-auto.no/nor/modeller/yeti/Documents/Skoda%20Yeti%20main%20Aug%202012.pdf As you can see it does not offer anything for the vertically challenged. It is meant to provide front and side shade at the same time only . I've got it. Used it about two times in total. The cost was only 30 £ so I figured why not add it when I ordered my car.
  3. DAB is standard on Amundsen Sat.nav units in Norway. My friend's 2012 Yeti has it. Check out this pricelist for accessories. http://www.skoda-auto.no/nor/modeller/yeti/Documents/Yeti%20prisliste.pdf Amundsen with DAB is listed a bit down on page 3
  4. Yes, in some countries a factory fitted Webasto can be ordered. At least for the diesel powered cars. The remote control is said to work at a distance of up to 1.5 km. I have tested mine successfully at over 800 metres :-) The Webasto is interfaced to the CAN bus and shows up in VCDS, as well as the Columbus screen much the same way as the heated seats. You can also set the time to start in Maxi-DOT. The manual on/off button is located in the same position as the one for the heated windscreen, so you can not have both. If you would like to have one retrofitted I would recommend a trip to Germany as the prices there seem very reasonable. At least when using eBay to compare with local prices. An alternative which is quite popular here in Norway is an electric block heater connected to the mains supply. It works very well, especially when paired with an interior heater. 5. I see. Thank you very much for the information. Petrol is out of the question by the way. Coming from an Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Tiptronic (US Spec) i really appreciate the diesel's mpg. Regards, Jon
  6. Thanks for the info guys. No chirps for me then as I skipped the Alarm together with the steel pedals from the list of available options. Added all the others though. One more question for the experts; I would very much like to have the cruise control display as shown in post #1. Some info: Controller: 0 -- 5L0 920 840 H -- KOMBI H21 0420 My coding is: 120E01 Adaptation channel 10 changed successfully to active but no display. Am I missing something? Regards, Jon
  7. Hi All, An old thread revisited, but I thought it might be a good idea to keep VCDS related issues in one place. I am trying to activate locking and unlocking confirmation via the horn but it does not seem to work. Could it be that the car must have the factory alarm option in order to get the beep? Regards, Jon
