Hi Guys, The tyres on my Karoq 2.0TDi style 4x4 are currently Bridgestone Turanza T0001 225/50 R18 95W summer tyres on Mytikas 7jx18 Wheels. Thinking of getting some replacement tyres for front tyres now/shortly before required (currenly 5mm @17k kms so hopefully wont require for a while ) and maybe avail of any promos on some premium brands. I find the motorway noise on the stock tyres very loud and notice a bit of roll on some cornering. Based on below It looks like below 225/55 R17 tyres would be suitable to change out to if wanted to go to 17in over stock 18in - is this correct? Maybe a silly Q. - if changing is it recommended/required to change all 4 tyres to 17in or acceptable to have say front 17in and rear 18in (until they need replacement at later date as wearing a bit less)? Looking at goodyear eagle F1 AS3 or michelin cross climate or similar for good tyre wear and road performance

Playing media through USB socket.

looking at the manual looks like as say a codec issue and maybe bitrate or framerate too high - file size was 720x576, total 2060kbps, 30fps so proably latter too elements over spec. will try see if able to convert again and try when get a chance. -

I tried a reduced file size of a same film in .mkv (1.7GB) and mp4 format (665MB) - only mkv format was recognised and audio played on usb stick. usb 'saw' the mp4 file but if selected gave error message. -

I should have mentioned videos were >4GB and HD so maybe a resolution issue and only regular 4:3 resolution possible so would need edit for lower res ? do you know whats the max compatible res permitted? -

Hi, wondering if it is possible to modify the currentl front led DRL turn signals on Karoq via VCDS/OBDeleven to make them dynamic like audi turn signals??. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNWOHTxpLT8 Unfortunetly only front lights LED as rear still regular bulb although plan to change that to led type bulb.

Noticed on a friends new Fabia Style with Keyless entry that when ignition is off and car is locked with key fob the boot does not appear to lock (no audible sound like doors have when lock) and able to open boot after "locking" with boot handle. I checked the settings on infotainment system and box ticked for 'all doors' for central locking. Any ideas why boot not apparently locking or is it actually locked and something related to the keyless entry system as not familiar with this. cheers

ok thanks - battery is 3yrs old so maybe related issue. will keep eye out for other errors etc as say.

well temperatures have definitely been low so maybe something in the fact linked to cold weather and when try start early in morning etc. just not sure if indication of some other issue?

Recently noticed that the ESP light flashes and get boing sound when start car particularily in mornings NOTE the ESP light does not stay on in dash and dissapears again. Any ideas on this as understand if problem light would remain on (amber?) in dash - so is it an issue or? due 60k service shortly so may wait till then.
